This looks like a good deal on a powerline adaptor starter kit - it allows you to spread your internet via the power cables in your house, great if you satellite box (for example) is far from your router or you have wifi deadspots. It's not the highest speed (it's 500Mbps rather than 1000) but will certainly satisfy most needs. It's upwards of £60 elsewhere, and prime eligible. Here's the specs.

TPL-410APK - Powerline 500 Wireless Kit

Create a Hybrid Powerline- Wireless Network Easily

TRENDnet’s Powerline 500 Wireless Kit, model TPL-410APK, uses electrical outlets to create a hybrid Powerline-Wireless network. The included TRENDnet Powerline adapters (TPL-406E + TPL-410AP) auto-connect out of the box

Connect a Smart TV, Gaming Console or Media Player

Network the TPL-406E to a router and plug the TPL-410AP into an outlet on the electrical system to extend a high performance wireless network. Hard-wire a smart TV, gaming console or media player to the two Ethernet ports on the TPL-410AP.

Wireless Network in Any Room

Create a 300 Mbps wireless network from any room in your home with no CD installation: adapters auto-connect out of the box.

don't tp-link models start with TPL-? I wonder if there's any generic interconnectivity

I'm waiting for ones with passthrough, they've been this price before but gone back up.

I agree - passthrough are a lot more useful.

Can powerline adapters be linked with other brands? Could do with a wireless extender, but already have a couple of these ( https://www.amazon.co.uk/TP-LINK-TL-PA4020KIT-Powerline-Streaming-Configuration/dp/B00QTG4J9C/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1476661222&sr=8-1&keywords=TP-Link+TL-PA4020 ) which work great.

Should be able to if they are Homeplug AV compliant

TRENDnet TPL-410APK 500 MB/s Powerline Wireless

What, 500MB/s? That's... unlikely, like well above the speed of a gigabit link. 300mbit/s link with 150mbit/s data rate maybe.
