Jess (Melissa George THE AMITYVILLE HORROR) gets more than she bargained for whilst on a yachting holiday with a party of friends. When a vicious storm renders their vessel powerless, the group seek refuge on a passing cruise ship but Jess is struck instantly by an uneasy feeling of having seen the liner before. Once aboard the ship, the friends find their newfound haven deserted but soon begin to realise that they aren't alone when their numbers slowly dwindle, as an unseen adversary begins to hunt them down...

excellent find.

It's all been done a hundred times before but I still love this type of film. Keep em coming hollywood!

Wasn't this a 1970s tv show about a ferry boat travelling back and forward to Amsterdam? Stonkin' idea that one! The description above seems to fit the bill to. Crikey, it's back.
#5
Giving this a go, hope its good!
Empire gave it 4/5 so must be half decent :)

Oh dear i rented this about 3 weeks ago from Blockbuster it is an absolute stinker it is shocking. It really isn't worth £6.95 i found it really confusing. It's the type of film you buy and watch once and forget about it.

Is there a fear of triangles?
#8
Trailer looks decent

I actually quite enjoyed this film although can't say much about it without spoiling it, great buy at 7 pounds.

Wow, seems like pretty mixed opinions!
Fingers crossed it's a good one, I'll post back if I remember, the deal will be long done by then though no doubt. It's cheaper than the DVD weirdly
#14
Watch Timecrimes instead, similar idea just much better
#15
I thought it was an interesting and clever little film, you'll probably be thinking about it for a few days after seeing it. Just don't expect your run of the mill slasher film with people in peril.

What plot holes? it's a very well thought out and constructed story if you ask me.

Indeed it was, and featured the lovely Kate O'Mara.
Her performance was so compelling and powerful, they were thinking of calling it:

"Kate O'Mara's Triangle"

LOL. There's a followup where they sail around Tazmania on an ordinance survey ship. Thinking of calling it Kate O'Mara's Mapatazi.

I said triangles not triangle.

Great film. Not for those who like to be spoon fed. But if you like to actually think about what's going on, like Memento, then this is your film.
#28
If you like complex films you will love this.

It is the hollywood version of 'Time crimes' - Spanish film

If you want to watch the most complex film ever .......watch 'Primer' - Awesome movie with similar theme but made with something like £30k.
#29
yeah loved this film.....many didn't though. Good price heat added!
#30
if someone owns it, can you tell me if there's a french track? thank you
#31
good film, makes you think
#32
I agree - great film. She's come a long way since Summer Bay!

I think the story could have easily been adapted from a Star Trek storyline involving the holodeck? lol
#33
was very dissapointed by this. some decent ideas in theory but it just really dident work. decent rental maybe but nothing more, and i watched this in the cinema, dont see how blu ray would add anything to it either.

What the hell are you talking about dude ?.Melissa George in HD !

Really good film as well although I spent about 2 hours after the film explaining it to my Mrs. (who still didn't understand it !).

Still it's a bargain at £7,nice find

+1 Great film I thought and really worth a reapeated viewing. One of those films you want to read up about after seeing it. Hot price for the BluRay.

Timecrimes (Los cronocrímenes-Spanish language) is also great and on a vaguely similar theme, Primer and Run Lola Run (Lola rennt-German language).
