No no no. Fashion fad and not even in original artwork. Avoid like the plague but if you must buy vinyl at least source something authentic.

don't waste your money, just pick up bargains from charity shops, new vinyl prints often use digital masters so you might as well just buy it on CD...

Digital mastering doesn't equal CD quality. I would expect recording studios to be using much higher sampling rates and bit depths than is used for CD.
