Cheers been looking for a decent shower for ages :)

voted hot, great price, although a 9.5kw electric shower is never an efficient way to have a shower.

I agree 9.5kw is not efficient. Misleading description there. Even the half power setting is juicy.

Also available at the same price from Homebase should that be a more convenient store.

Probaly should be asking this on a different forum but is 6mm cable enough to run this shower? Voted hot btw:-)

6mm won't be enough for a 9.5kw shower mate.

6mm won't be enough for a 9.5k shower pal.

Why isn't it? I'm looking for a shower and don't know anything about them. I just know I CANNOT STAND a shower which trickles and takes half an hour to rinse off shampoo. I need a bit of oomph to it. What would you recommend?
scruffty#14
thats the power used to heat it not necessarily pump it.
Do you have a combi boiler?

Do you have a combi boiler? If so look at getting a gravity fed shower, they work just as well, are more efficient (as they run off the boiler, don't need electrics) and you get good water pressure (you must have good pressure anyway for a combo) - failing that a decent pump will do the job.

Yes I have a combi boiler. Thanks for the heads up on that, I'll run it past the plumber.
