Originally £168.07, appears to be the cheapest Thermostatic power shower going. This could be a screwfix special as it's not on Triton's website, however I called Triton to register it and it's supported. The cheapest equivalent directly from manufacturer is £200 +

Thermostatic Temperature Control
Up to 14Ltr/min
5-Pattern Shower Head
Adjustable Maximum Temperature Stop
1 Year Manufacturer's Guarantee
WRAS Approved
Push-Button Start/Stop

I've had an equivalent model for a several years and just bought this as a replacement because it's only £30 quid more than the fixed out-of-warranty repair cost offered by Triton.

Interesting. I want a power shower, by power I assume it increases the pressure so you get a proper blast?

This could be just what I need.

Had one for years, the only problem is they can not be run off cold water mains they have to be run off a cold tank. My cold tank is only just above the triton power shower and gets air locked occasionally.
When working they are excellent.

Yeah you're right Peter, are there power showers that run off mains? This would probably prevent the airlock problem with gravity fed systems.

Supernovi - Yes it does, but you need to have the right setup already in place otherwise initial installation costs could be high.

To run off the mains/combi-boiler it needs to be "pressure balanced"

http://www.screwfix.com/prods/49167/Bathrooms-Showers/Showers-Enclosures/Showers/Thermostatic-Mixer-Shower/Triton-Salvo-Thermostatic-Mixer-Shower

This one should work with mains/combi-boiler, the decsription says all "all plumbing systems" and that is £139.

EDIT: Sorry not a power shower, just a thermostatic mixer.

I was looking for the "power" (kw) but now realise this thing may not heat water. You need to run this from a tank system, where the hot water is heated in a tank. Or am I completely wrong?

Right! Power Showers are all about the pressure. You're thinking of an electric or electric power shower.

It definitely needs hot and cold water feeds. This is from the specification:

"Suitable only for gravity-fed low pressure systems. Not suitable for combi boilers. Requires hot and cold water supply"

Hope that helps.
