Well here's an idea for a cool break - Norway, Troll's Tongue Trip 3 Nights Incl. Cottage, Flights & Car Hire just £114 each!

The Troll's Tongue, Norway, are you brave enough?
We have put together this little package for those that have the stamina and quite frankly the guts to take up this challenge. Flying into the closest airport, Haugesund from London, Stansted on 18th September 2014 returning on 21st September 2014 with a great cottage a little over 12 miles from the the amazing attraction and car hire included.
Do not be be disappointed if this is not your local departure airport or these dates are not convenient to you, there are many flights at great prices from various airports. Use Skyscanner to look for flights from your local airport.

3 days is perfect for fishing, walking and exploring the utterly spellbinding area. Some of the sites you will see will leave you with memories that will last a lifetime.

Finding accommodation in the area is not an easy task but we have managed to find this great little cottage, (Check it out here) in the resort of Skare so you can fill up your boot on route from the airport (approx 2 hour drive) with all the supplies you need for a great 3 night break in a fab little area.

Trolltunga, meaning Troll's Tongue is one of the world's most amazing places to visit but be warned, it is not for the faint heated. The accent is over 3000ft and it can take between 10 and 12 hours to do the return hike. We would suggest taking up one of the professional guided tours who will provide you with all the necessary equipment and support.

The sites to see certainly do not end in Odda and we recommend making full use of that hire car and getting out and about, check out Trip Advisor to discover what else Western Norway has to offer.

Flights bookable at Ryanair for 4 x People = £159.92

Accommodation bookable at Bookings.com = £184

Car Hire Bookable at Carrentals.co.uk = £109.32

TOTAL PRICE FOR 4 X PEOPLE = £453.24 (£113.31pp)

Offer details:
Travel duration is 3 nights
Non-stop flight from London, Stansted to Haugesund – round trip
10kg Cabin bag plus a small handbag each.
Car Hire
All prices are based on 4 Adults

My wife just booked this for us, I'm sure it will be a fun time as she is insisting on packing the rollerskates. Not sure we need to take the bananas as they will sell them over there I'm sure, but she says she doesn't want to take any chances. She loves big bananas, bless her.

I'm surprised we can afford it after the life insurance we took out last week, but she assures me it'll be my last holiday. Teehee, I know she's lying because I've already seen the plane ticket for Miami the week after, the little tease knows it's my birthday and that guy she's been chatting to online over there will probably be organising a massive party in the sun. God, I love her.

Stacey...you should be charging for such requests. A £10 a pop or and you'd make a mint ...and no-one would complain because of the wonderful price!

I say it's time for the 'Middle Woman'. After all, this is the 21st Century...

And besides, it's more a finders fee...without the middle man price!

Stacey are there any deals to anywhere for the week 8-15th August? Doesn't need to be exactly can be a little flexible, just want somewhere sunny for an affordable price!
#17

Happened across a website called Holiday Gems the other day. Has decent reviews on Trust Pilot and is ABTA/ATOL bonded. They had some decent deals and discounts plus a really easy to search/navigate website. Worth a look for cheap(ish) school holiday trips perhaps...

And Norway is fabulous! Did a last minute Fjords cruise last month. Spectacular scenery. Bit pricey out there though...

Hi Stacey,

Can you help me find a group holiday for 3. Anytime in September for around 10 days. The places can include Germany: Dusseldorf, Croatia: Prague, Switzerland: Zurich or Bulgarian: Plodiv. Flights either from Manchester or Leeds Bradford.
We are looking for something all inclusive which includes both flight, transfers and hotel. The budget is top end 200 for the full period. I have searched but struggling to find anything cheaper than 350/400 minimum.

Thank you,

Waqas

Hi Stacey,

Can you help me find a group holiday, of 56 of us, to Mars for around 25 Mars days? Flights either from London, Luton, or Tokyo. I've asked Richard Branson, and he is struggling to find anything from me. Max budget £25,000 per person.

Thank you,

I just want to say a big thank you for finding this. Booked and stoked. It's a cheap deal even with just three people but remember how expensive food, alcohol and fuel can be in Norway if on a tight budget.

Legendary OP.

apparently these dates are out of season - was just about to book it but then checked thoroughly online. This means that there wont really be that much to do, or any guided tours available. Do people think its still worth going?

Hi Stacey

I'm a big fan. Could you please find my remote control I've lost it, then when you are done can you iron my shirt, then I need you to go do my shopping. When back please can you order the pizza and when it arrives hand feed it to me.

If you have time I need a lift to town and I'm also after a holiday to Pyongyang in Sept with 7 kids and a tiger cub. Find it please thanks.

Let me know.

What about trying the tripadvisor phone app or similar? They can walk you through where to go and in which direction. I used it in New York and Paris to do my walking tours.

Edit: Just noticed it is a 10-12hr trek to the Troll's Tongue so not the wisest idea to do it on your own, and with no phone signal.
