Seems like a good price for 10 books! 99P PER BOOK!

works with this free delivery code too 'OCTWEL' thanks shakey82

Full of all the thrills, romance and drama that made True Blood such a big television hit, Charlaine Harris’ series of novels are a must read for fans of vampire fiction. Told through the eyes of small town cocktail waitress Sookie Stackhouse, this collection of novels details her incredible life; one that she shares with only a few close friends, because not everybody appreciates her gift - the ability to read minds! An enormously popular and exciting series, True Blood has shown once and for all that not all vampire books are written for teenagers!

Not only that but you get 'book points' for it and I just checked up that with this you get 550 points which allows you to get a book worth £9.99 so you really get 11 books for £9.99

Not true. You can BUY the collection for 550 points, but you only get a measly amount of points by ordering it. Perhaps enough for a very cheap paperback, mind.

You don't get 550 points by buying them - they *cost* 550 points (if you have that many). You get 1 point per pound spent, so you'll get 9 points by buying them. It says in the top right of the product page - "Book Points - Earn: 9. Redeem: 550".

Last year it was £8.99 for 8 books, now it's £9.99 for 10 books - a slightly hotter deal! Now it also includes the, 'Dead and Gone', the 9th book in the series, and 'A Touch of Dead', which is a compilation of short stories that feature Sookie Stackhouse that have previously been published elsewhere (magazines and other compilations). Just a shame they're not offering the 2 new books for 50p each for the people who bought the set of 8 last year... (the best prices I can see for them are on Amazon at £3.50 and £4.32 respectively). The Book People also have the 10th book in the series ('Dead in the Family') in hardback for £4.99.

Even though reading Books isn't exactly my cup of Tea, the TV Guide is about as much as I will stretch to reading during a week, True Blood is an excellent TV Series so £9.99 for 10 Books is surely a bargain.

It's just a shame that Channel 4 keep messing around with the time that True Blood is aired every week. If I was to be cynical I would say that Channel 4 were deliberately trying to lose viewers as they may not have secured the rights to show True Blood Series 3 on mainstream TV. (Unconfirmed)

Does anyone else have any idea why Channel 4 seem to be treating the viewers of True Blood with continual disrespect?

i have these, I love the TV show however the books are not fantastic. Wouldn't rate her as a great writer. Twilight is written beautifully however :)

I bought the 8 books last year for the missus and she loved them so much we had to buy the other 2 seperately for about £8 each if I remember rightly.

This deal is absolutely epic, it really is.

It actually got my missus into reading books. She was obsessed with the TV series, but never read books. She read all 10 of these books and won't stop now.

Highly recommended.

C4 have a long and ignoble history of sourcing great shows form the US then utterly screwing their scheduling (especilaly if the programme could have a niche/ cult audience that will track it down whenever it is shown) .

just arrived today. it's the newer edition which means they use TV characters as cover art for the books. much much prefer the 1st edition which they used a face-blocked hot chick with sexy lipstick, lol. but hey 10 books for under 12 quid. you cant beat that. anyone who hasnt got it go grab this when it still lasts!!!

Awesome deal, great xmas present.

EDIT: I used the code "VEM040" for free delivery and it was dispatched today (22nd) via DHL UK Domestic.

EDIT2: It was only dispatched yesterday, but was delivered today 23rd (they left the box in my purple glass bin down the side of my house). Very pleased, as I'm sure the recipient of the xmas present will be :p

I ordered these when this deal popped up (heat added by the way) but after 2 weeks of waiting, contacted their customer service who were useless. I posted a message on twitter that evening about how bad they were and lo and behold they contacted me via Twitter to ask for the TPB order number, which I provided. They said they couldnt locate it, but would look in to it and get back to me, 7 days later I am still waiting...

Shame as these were for a xmas present, but that experience, cheap or not, has put me off these guys for life.

Ordered this today thanks. For anyone doubting this company I use them a lot and have never had any problem with them at all. Books have always been delivered next day or the day after.
