This could be for 10grams and therefore very expensive or 10kilograms and a bargain :)

If it is really "fairtrade", who is making the loss? Co-op or producer? Does not make sense and doesn't comply with the fairtrade principle!

Like nats pizz

yep strength 2

I would guess that the Co-op stand the loss - as with most promotions...I've tried the coffee and it may only be strength 2 but the flavour is really good

Just tried this coffee and liked it, not to sweet or strong. Good for the price I believe.

The co-op make the loss, the producer never takes a pay cut, ever.

Heat and rep :-)

So the pressure the likes of colossal supermarkets like Tesco put on farms and food producers doesn't count as a manufacturing end cut?

It may have been store specific, but I just got a really good deal on fairtrade coffee in Sainsbury's. So Organic Papua New Guinea Fairtrade Coffee Beans, 50p for 227g with a best before date of July 2010. I must admit I stocked up.
