‘Deeply researched and exhaustive study… While the book’s approach is relentlessly balanced and fair-minded, the net result will leave the reader frightened and appalled… In anecdote after anecdote, Trump is portrayed as a man with no firm beliefs or moral centre, who lies constantly – though he prefers the term “truthful hyperbole” – and has used a relentless work ethic, a gullible media and a willingness to litigate to build himself into a myth bigger than any man could hope to be… the implicit conclusion of this important book is that Trump views life as a game and he never expected the voters to take him so seriously… Perhaps Trump’s greatest fear is that in victory he would be exposed as the hollow man he is’ ( Sunday Times)

'Excellent book… skilful and meticulous… there is plenty to enjoy’ (David Aaronovitch The Times)

‘There have been other books on Donald Trump this year but this one did best, by avoiding the pitfalls of being boring or partisan… It’s all here, land deals, bankruptcies, lies and beauty pageants. Trump emerges as dynamic and imaginative, but also as untrustworthy and self-centred’ ( The Times Books of the Year)

‘Painstakingly researched political biography American journalists do so well… well worth reading’ ( Herald)

‘ Trump Revealed is a top-notch, finely balanced example of open-minded factual reportage. Its material is the collective effort of over twenty specialist Washington Post journalists, factcheckers and editors; the named authors’ job, which they have done brilliantly, was to convert a mass of validated material into a bright and lucid read… Their impassive, objective account is far more alarming than any finger-jabbing hectoring denunciation. All it does is present facts. It makes no judgements. It simply chronicles. And because you draw your own conclusions, they are far more convincing and enduring’ ( Tribune)

‘Devastating indictment of Trump’ ( The National)

There is always a joker. You don't need to have Trump revealed in a book. He is revealing himself, I'm sad to say, before the eyes of the world.

So let's take a look at the Washington Post and the political 'preferences' of its journalists. This from Wiki:

On October 17, 2008, the Post endorsed Barack Obama for President of the United States.[71] On October 25, 2012, the newspaper endorsed the re-election of Barack Obama.[72] On October 21, 2014, the newspaper endorsed 44 Democratic candidates versus 3 Republican candidates for the 2014 elections in the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia.[73] On October 13, 2016, it endorsed Hillary Clinton for the presidential election of that year.[74]

No surprises, then, that this book trashes Trump.

Yes, my thoughts go out to the people of Sweden who suffered that atrocious terrorist attack on Friday. Thank god for the Donald. If it hadn't been for him that attack would have gone unmentioned by the world's press. Just like the Bowling Green massacre. He is holding the media to account and eliminating fake news :{

I base my opinions on evidence (as per the Wiki details, posted above). You, however, base your view on empty platitudes and left-wing groupthink, namely 'world renowned for its political journalism'.

Anywhere but the biased, lying media (ITV, BBC, SKY and other main stream media), and definitely not from the newspapers. Honest research (looking at both sides and applying critical analysis) is a better approach to determining if what the media is feeding the sheep is true or false.

If you think that mainstream media outlets - such as the BBC and Sky - are feeding you honest and unbiased accounts of political events, I suggest that you educate yourself on the lines Predikuesi suggests.

Why is there a hard back version?
Spineless would have been more apt, no?

We could have had Hilary who is completely honest and not tainted by corruption LOL. Give me Donald, and sadly that was the only other choice! God help America

All very admirable indeed but the idea that because someone watches Sky or reads The Daily Mail they must be a sheep incapable of independent thought is as big a cop out as your answer until you support it with some actual sources.

I don't disagree that the media is a **** show btw.

Depends on if the media are supplying us with actual facts or if, as you point out, alternative (fake) facts. I'm more inclined not to trust the media as they manipulate the facts to present their own biased agenda. Anyone who believes that the press is honest in presenting the news is living in cloud cuckoo land.
