i hope this is cabin-sized
#2
so do i as my daughter will be taking hers in a few weeks to turkey

My 2 girls have 1 of these each (ladybird design) ... seem a bit big to be classed as cabin luggage i would have thought.

Very good for the wee ones though

Size 46x20.5x32cm. Weight 1.7Kg. Capacity 18L.

Does Trunki meet current UK hand luggage restrictions?

Trunki fits very comfortably within the new relaxed restrictions of 56cm x 45cm x 25cm

My son now has two of these Terrence and The Gruffalo one.

He has taken them many times on the plane in the cabin............DO NOT put them through with suitcases they will break.

Loads of children now seem to have them at the airports, so don't be afraid to take them espicially on the plane as hand luggage.

Voted hot, wish i had the room to buy my son this one too, but i'm sure my husband would moan and say what's he need 3 for ;o)

I emailed trunki about the size got mail back it is 0.5cm to big for ryan air cabin sizes - we are undecided as to whether we risk it or not !!

This has surely got to be the most successful thing that the Dragons declined. And not only did they call it a flop, they took the p*ss to! Such a good idea!

don't risk it with ryanair as carry-on - if it doesn't fit in the metal 'bin' (at the gate) it has to be checked in for 30 squids. i had a friend whose bag was within the size but the wheels were about 0.5cm wider than 20cm - had to check it in the hold and pay the fee.

do they do adult sized? i want one

My kids are always jealous when they see other kids at the airports with these, however as they are 14 and 16 I tell them they are too old for them now!

My little boy has one and whenever we are at the airport people always comment or ask where to get one, it's quite nice.

These are for hand luggage only, like someone said above do not check them in.

Loads of fun for kids whilst they wait for UK air-space to re-open.

Dragons Den rejected the idea?!?!? Now there is a surprise. The Trunki range looks well fun. A niche in the market found. I'd love a case like that... if I was a kid still :whistling:

Ryan Airs maximum dimensions of 55cm x 40cm x 20cm for Cabin Luggage, so its touch and go

The wheels appear to be removable from the inside of the case.
