do these qualify as hand baggage on ryanair and easyjet?

if you can race around the departure lounge that implies that they qualify? anyone know?

Hello

The kids took Trunki's on a Ryan Air flight to Pisa. The only time they haven't been allowed on as hand luggage was just after the 'liquid bomber' incident a few years back when hand baggage was very strictly limited.

Both kids have had Trunki's for a number of years, they are great for long walks to departure gates etc.

Yes they can only go as hand luggage and shouldn't be checked in. They are a godsend! We've had ours less than a year and used it twice and both times we have been so pleased we have one. Great for wheeling them about, getting places quick or if delayed they can entertain themselves. Plus they may seem small but you can get such alot in them, we've packed with a weeks worth of clothes and toys! And absolute must me thinks! I love them!!!! Can you tell?

I don't think they did

We've taken ours abroad four times in the last couple of years and have never had any problems checking them in as hand baggage. Our daughter loves being pulled around airports on it too. A great place to pack all her toys.

nope they all turned it down.

it was featured on a Dragons Den spin-off called something like 'the ones they missed' or something along those lines, with dragons visiting guys they had turned down.
David Bannatyne (sp) was gutted and stated this was the product he regrets most of all not getting involved in

Excellent product, have some H&R

these are excellent, got the blue one when it was about £22 a few weeks ago. My middle boy is now getting the gruffalo one for christmas. Brilliant idea and good price.

absolutely brilliant things. my 2 love theirs. I was fortunate enough to get the tiger one half price in Next sale. My 5 (nearly 6 yr old) and 2 yr old have great fun on these!

My kids love these. We used them as hand luggage for Florida. Not cheap, but I'd have to say probably worth the money.

Is this particular model 'Theo Paphitis Proof'.

I seem to remember he pulled the strap straight off of one on the show.

My daughter loves her trunki. Very useful for us when we travel by train, which is every couple of weeks :)
