I was genuinely surprised to see that you can now pickup quad core android TV boxes for just £40.

Out of interest, what does this give me at over 3x the price?

Extra ballast? :{

item weight 6 KG..... I go for the desktop thank you.
From the Customer Q&A on the amazon page:
Q: Is this the zbox with a Hard Drive and RAM or without? The model number would mean it's without but the description says its's included.
A: This does NOT have HDD or RAM. The title is wrong(we did not create this listing), ZBOXNANO-CI320-P-BE is the model number of the unit with HDD and RAM

had one for over a year and you would think the price should be down further by now.

My experience of anything connected to my TV - tablet, laptop etc, is that the picture quality is dire.

Is this any better?

(I am very fussy about picture quality so 'pretty good' isn't good enough.)

you either dont know what you are doing or have crap source material. A digital image doesnt lose quality due to the box that is displaying it lol

I returned inns of these when I discovered iplayer is not available on these hubs. It's only available the wdtv live box. Is that still correct?

No, you're not correct, the WD LiveHub has BBC iPlayer. I've had one of these for over a year now. Also, to answer an earlier comment, these are far and away better than a XBMC.

would you care to elaborate. i have an apple tv running xbmc and i think its great. i also have a roku which i use in another room with plex, which is also very good. i also have an early wdtv in the bedroom which is also excellent, but the menu's are nothing like as pretty as the other 2. why is this box better?

could you please explain why these are "far and away better than xbmc"still trying to get my head around my wd tv live, so am curious to know what im missing out on

Me too, I have a WD Live Hub which I cant get my head round either - so don't use it much (picture always looks very greyish as well).

Love my XBMC setups though.

Amazing offer gotta tell my friends thank you santa!
Thats ace just what i wanted to, and saving the kinect money. Lucky day
Hey Gary,

IGN were going to review it next, so think that should be out soon. With regards to weight that isn't really a problem. I've been taking mine backwards and forwards to my mates and it's not even an issue, its really light as it is.

I would say brightness is the big thing. The Epson TW480 is extreemely good in daylight. I was really surprised, I expected I'd have to close the curtains all the time, but the colours look fantastic at any time of the day.

Any other question let me know.
Has anyone found a thorough online review of this projector please? I Googled it but none of the popular review sites have covered it. I'm torn between the Epson TW480 and the Optoma ML500 (which is half the weight, has a 20K hour lifespan, but isn't as bright)
WOW! Just what i need, and i thought Epson just did printers!!!!

now this one IS a Which? "Best Buy"
So is this full HD or 720p then, fancy using this as a pc monitor with added bonus as 3D tv
Energy Efficiency Class A
Energy Consumption 87 Watts
and the Technika 32 inch from tesco
Energy Efficiency Class C
Energy Consumption 70 Watts
I don't get it how this rating works

The TV is 41 Watts hence the A+ rating
Mellor123
KillFelix
32" and cinema should never be used together in the same product description

Neither should "Full HD" and "720p"

Also

'Audio Output 2 x 5W' and 'Infinite Surround'

The first bit describes very low power sound output but the second describes something far beyond 5.1 surround the new 'infinite surround'.

As much as I love LG's passive 3D compared to active 3D I'm deeply suspicious of LG's own passive sets due to huge input lag on some of their models.

Cheaper (£208.65) for the 32"
If you're in the market for a telly of this size, I'd say no point in paying abrand premium - e.g. Sainsbury's chucking out 32" 720s for £179 in store. Not voted as this is about whether or not the price is hot for this TV, no idea

The Airstash is stuck on FAT32 too, so no 720p or 1080p films. Stupid situation really; all these Tegra3 or equivalent tablets and no easy way to watch HD stuff on them.
Awesam
Airstash is more expensive than this half the memory!
the airstash is a wireless sd card reader max expansion to 2TB SDXC the 8 Gbs cheaper all you have to do is but 32GB+cards whenever you want.

Nexus 7 not memory expandable via flash memory!!! but yeah i agree - just bad example of device.
Nexus 7 can use USB Flashdrives (or micro SD and a card reader) just fine for storage like most Android devices.

I have just googled - My apologies, i never knew... does that mean i could use a flash drive on my HTC One X? Thanks
