Try an issue of Total film for 1p!

Try 3 issues of Total Film for 1p!
The ultimate movie guide. All the latest releases & DVDs reviewed, exclusive news, plus interviews, features, competitions & the best movie quiz out there.

Despite the fact that on quidco it states, *Cashback is not available for £1 orders placed through My Favourite Magazines*,that this apparantly does not fall into that bracket as we have had 3 orders on 3 different accounts in our household all track and validate @ £7.I also had a previous trial of T3 mag @ 1p from MFM via quidco track @ £6 and paid out within 6 weeks.
I have made the link go to quidco MFM page as that is without doubt the WTG on this.Just sign in and then visit the site and then click on top offers and you will find it on that page.

Edit: Quidco have changed the wording on this and it definately excludes 1p subs,so don't bother if you only want the cashback.

Just a question, do they let you just cancel straight away as it states :
" ** Direct Debit purchases have to be bought individually and minimum subscription term is 12 months. Your basket contents will be kept safe for you while you set up your Direct Debit."
I nearly did one of theses before but didnt in case they try to charge me for full 12 months as stated as legally I think they could.

You can cancel a DD at any time.I have done this a few times before and there is never a problem. These are purely trial subscriptions and it is your right to change your mind. They deffo do not attempt to get any money out of you.HTH.

No,even if you leave it till they take the second payment (£8.99) for the next 3 months, you can still cancel the DD with no penalty.

I am a bit confused on how to subscribe

Also if you do pay the 2nd payment of £8.99 and you then decide to cancel,if you write to them and cancel, they will refund you for any issues that they have not yet sent out.To be honest, the best way to go,is to cancel as soon as they have taken the 1st payment of 1p and then do the offer again as soon as they have sent the last issue.

Definitely days minimum sub is 12 months;

** Direct Debit purchases have to be bought individually and minimum subscription term is 12 months. Your basket contents will be kept safe for you while you set up your Direct Debit.

Does this not mean exactly that - you are entering into a 12 month contract?

Take it from me,i have done over a dozen of these trials and have cancelled every one as soon as the initial payment has been taken and have heard nothing further from any of them. They just simply stop sending the mags.At worst they will send you a letter saying that your bank has refused the DD request and please resubmit the DD or the subscription cannot continue.Just ignore that and that is that.I have taken out a subscription, cancelled after initial payment and then applied again for the same offer, got the mags and cancelled again after initial payment. There really is nothing to worry about.:)

As close as i have found to free money... :-D...

Note to self....Remember to cancel Direct Debit!

Thanks
#17
Same here, tried these before and i have never had a problem as long as you cancel in time.
It really is that simple.
#18
On the quidco page it says;
"Cashback is not available for £1 orders placed through My Favourite Magazines"
Would that not also exclude this deal from a cashback payment?
#19
Done! and voted HOT.
#20
Thanks, will give this a shot.

cheers great mag

Brilliant. How long before first Direct Debit is likely? and can I go back to the site and order a free T3 trial as well or won't it track through quidco?
#23
Unclear here on how exactly you cancel... do you change something on their site? Contact your bank? Does either involve sending actual Snail Mail, which seems pretty unattractive...
#24
Setup online banking with your current account. I did it last month and i don't know how i managed without it. Cancelling direct debits with a click of a button is just one of many useful stuff i can do piece of p!ss.
#25
My mistake, didn't realise there was the 60 day period...

Thanks OP
All should be fine as long as I remember to cancel
#29
tracking was very fast

06 Jan 2008 11:19:29 My Favourite Magazines £0.01 £7.00 tracked ~ Mar 2008

*Cashback is not available for £1 orders placed through My Favourite Magazines*

so I doubt they'll validate a £0.01 order
#31
doubtful indeed but worth a punt for the sake of a few free magazines. The deal finder has a lot of reputation and posts, so if he says he got the cashback i believe him.
#32
Cheers Baz!

Placed an order for T3 mag - 1p! £7.00 QuidCo tracked already!
#33
Voted hot, and setting it up now.

Any idea when the first direct debit of 1p will leave the account? How long should I leave it before cancelling the DD. How long until they try to take the first £8.99 payment from your account. I just need to know if I can do this offer, they take the 1p immediately and then in a week just cancel the DD straight away.

Thanks

I did this yesterday and in the email they sent me after it stated:
We will take your first direct debit payment on 21/01/2008
#36
Did this for two mags one tracked in quidco other has not.
#37
Canceling the DD via Internet Banking is the best to go or Writing to them and canceling would be better? Or Wait for the to stop the subscription ? Which one of these is a best choice?

We are supposed to provide reason why we are not happy with the subscription .. am I right here? Could someone explain here? :-D !?
#38
Many thanks to OP!
#39

With all the trials i have had i have never contacted the company when cancelling.I simply go to my internet banking, select DD,one click and the DD is cancelled and that is that.
