I`d be more concerned about it being radioactive or not.

Tuna chunks in brine were never better than when sung about by John Shuttleworth ...

I don't think that's of much concern imo. There is no reason to believe there is any danger from eating tuna off the west coast and you would get more radiation from eating a banana.

Also the tuna in this deal is from Mauritius according to the website. :D

The fish swim through the debris on their migration eating smaller contaminated fish building up a higher dose and are then caught by boats registered in Mauritius, not in Mauritius waters. I love tuna but cant buy pacific caught fish, not worth the risk imo ;)

But the radioactivity is mimimal, around 3% above natural background levels. I can understand your concern but as I say you would still get more radiation from a banana, you'd have to eat a very large amount of this radioactive tuna. We receive more radiation from our own body due to the natural potassium levels in it.

I found this chart very interesting. :)

Got some in Bristol Bedminster today - still a decent number left on the shelf.

Thanks op. Picked some up in Runcorn today. Plenty on the shelf but they were low down hidden under John West and other more expensive tins.

Last asda one I got was brilliant vs John mush. No black crap in it too
#33
Picked some up today - great price at 50p per tin for chunks, not shredded etc.
#34
Does anyone know when this deal ends
#35
just bought some today great deal
#36
The last time I got these for £3, I got more around 110g of tuna, whereas with the John West tuna mush was between 90-100g for the same price... I picked up 5 packs today from the Beckton branch.
