  There's a swag shop in Sutton in Ashfield flogging these for £3 for 12, flying off the shelves so the owner tells me, I must confess to purchasing a pack, my nipper loves it.

  short dates on the case i bought as well
  a gimmick that never took off.perhaps
  a warehouse full of em' somewhere...

  Heh, they're still 1.79 in my local Martin's, only place I've seen them so far. I'd like to try it, but £1.79 just feels like they're taking the p*** a bit :)

  It's such a strange 'invention'... the world doesn't need it, but it's cool & funny and actually tastes pretty nice. Never been a tango fan either. It's just some of the warnings and text on the bottle - so many inappropriate innuendos to be made, lol

  I bought a couple when they were offer in Tescos earlier this year and I was distinctly unimpressed. It's one of the most expensive way to consume a fizzy soft drink, because not only is the RRP ludicrous, you don't even get 500ml like almost any other soft drink bottle. The taste was pretty poor (much worse than the equivalent Orange Tango) and I left the second bottle in the fridge for about a week until I had no other fizzy drinks and even then it wasn't a pleasant experience.
  
  The other thing to watch out is that you don't squirt too much of the foamy substance and end up gassing your gut :) A bad idea with all round pointlessness makes this a poor buy even at 29p.
