This first person shooter sees construction worker Carson thrust into a war to save New York City.

Turning Point Fall of Liberty is based on an alternate history where Winston Churchill is hit by a taxi in New York in 1931 and does not survive. The Nazis overrun England without the leadership of Churchill, the Soviet Union and the rest of Europe falls too. The US does not involve itself in the war as a result of strong native anti-war sentiment. The Axis powers grow in military strength, growing technologically superior to the US, and even developing a nuclear bomb.

The game focuses on Carson, an American construction worker. Unlike typical war based game this does not involve the protagonist assisting in winning the war, instead it focuses on Carson surviving within a war environment. Many prototype weapons being developed at the time are featured in this game, including jet fighters and tanks.

With famous backdrops including New York City and the White House, and a large array of weaponry, this war game based on what could have happened with only one small change in history packs a punch.

Hot! great price!

Tried using the Tesco Ent browsing options to find other possible cheap games around this price, but not even this game came up!! The site is awful grrr!

Is this any good? Don't forget 8% Quidco ...
#3
Nice easy gamerscore to be had with this :-)
#4
Don't bother with this insult of a video game, it is abysmal, and thats being generous.

No. It is one of the worst games in recent memory. Not worth any amount of anyone's money.
#6
Rubbish. The 4 quid isn't the issue, it's the time you'll waste playing it.
#7
i played the demo and thought it was ok so i picked one up for this price its not that bad
#8
cant seem to order one though keeps saying the card issuer has declined my card tried two different ones and i only just used it on another website so not sure why that is happening
#9
Very bad game. I'd say its not even worth £4
#11
Agreed Tesco should pay us to take it off their hands

True gamers will play anything! :-D It's a game, it's less than four pound! Easy single player 770GS! :w00t: Buy it! I paid £5 :-D

I'd say the opposite. Real gamers know what's worth playing and will stick to the Call Of Duty, Fallout, Bioshock, GTA and the other plethora of highly rated games available.

this game is grim....

I bought this for the pc two years ago, it's so bad if they gave it away I would take it just to beat them with it.
It's developed by codemasters, who used to make really cr*p games in the 80's i guess two decades on and nothing changes.

True gamers don't care about Gamerscore, and true gamers would save their money and support good games.

If some of you haven't played it yet for under £4 I suppose you may give it a try. However it IS a very bland game. At least it can be resold on ebay for... mmh £5-7?
Still a hot deal

Why I did not like it?
- flat boring action
- forced and predictable paths
- way too short, ridiculously short
- no way you're going to play it again (for the reasons I just listed above)

but for <£4 these factors can be easily forgotten. You won't feel bad if you finish it in a day. Next day will be either back on your shelf to collect dust or on ebay.

Yeah you might get more than £4 trade in at Gamestation?Game/CeX

EDIT: okay, CeX are offering less than £4. Not a good sign really.

Don't worry, Tesco won't send it anyway. Just like they didn't send any of the other games I've ordered from them for £3.97.

This game is pants. Yes I suffered to grind out the full 1k in this game and the multiplayer truly sucked. I didn't really mind the single player that much, but it was very poor. But 3 playthroughs because the difficulty achievements don't stack, come on. That was soul destroying. No one would take it off my hands afterwards, for the trade in value I thought I'd have more fun burning it in a fire instead so I did. :) Only thing that made me smile about the whole game.

Will buy for the lol's.
#23
Why is this a hot deal? you can get better games for the same price.. i wouldnt even pirate this one onto a 50p dvd, thats how bad it is.
This game doesn't deserve a £3.97 price tag

Thats PC Version :-D, but both not worth the disc they come on

Good price, but still not worth it at that price. I paid about this for it and was still dissapointed its really quite bad, laughable even but some might like it I guess if your the the sort of person who likes rubbish?

Arguably one of the greatest games to come out on the xbox, light years ahead of all the new games such as MW2, bioshock 2 etc in terms of stunning graphics, sublime gameplay and a compelling storyline that'll keep you playing for days on end. And once you've worked you way through the amazing single player you'll find yourself playing with the gods of xbox live on the games multiplayer mode, no lag whatsoever, maps you'll never get bored of and a whole host of people online at any time meaning you won't be waiting around long to play!

disregard all that on second thoughts...
#28
Yeah, at today's prices you only need to buy 4 games that are "only" four or five quid, and you've talked yourself out of affording a decent game.

It's this recurring thing of "You can't go wrong for £xx"... you can, and the more you do it, the less decent stuff you'll be able to afford.
