Turtle Beach Ear Force X11 Headset £34.99 @ Amazon

I am aware that this deal was posted just over 2 weeks ago however the price has changed since then so I thought it would be worth posting again to make people aware. Here is the previous deal: http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/turtle-beach-x11-headset-38-00-deli/824602

and i am aware that they are only £34.85 at Shopto however some people may prefer to spend a extra 14p to order through Amazon. Here is the other deal: http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/turtle-beach-ear-force-x11-34-85-de/834215

Wouldn't say this is a hot deal as it's cheaper elsewhere and Shopto are a very good site.

They are a decent headset (Worth the £50 I paid over a year ago!!) and wearing them now!!

They are worth money certainly.

I picked up some X11's yesterday in town for £39.99 down from £49.99. I was willing to pay a bit extra to get them that day.

They are very good quality, and very comfortable. The sound (As mentioned in the other post) is a little bassy but its easy to just turn the in-game sounds down which eliminates the problem. These are designed for XBOX but you can also use them with PC (And also PS3 on a limited basis I think - although the more expensive model suits PS3 better - I havent got PS3 so couldnt tell you why)

Overall, a very good buy at £39.99 so im gonna vote hot here for this price. In store (Gamestation) there was a couple of sets of X41's....for £162.99. They are the wireless ones. Bit expensive for a gaming headset if you ask me!

I'm using the X1's and they are great, just brought my brother some of these X11's for Xmas and he LOVES them.. I'm now tempted by the wireless versions.. very tempted

I got the x31's when on offer at tesco's for £57 not sure how different the sound quality is but presume its the same but mines wireless if so then you wont be disappointed very happy with mine

i have the px 21,s good sound quality also if you run the usb from pc it acts as a usb sound card and the sound fron from pc and xbox come though at the same time, unless you turn one of them off, excellent for night gaming

I have these and were murder to get up and running.

Why the need for all the excess wires and component fittings?? Very OTT. Also found out they have compatibility issues with Samsing TVs, to cut a long story short bypass the phono cables (red/white) to plug into your TV and just plug straight into your TVs headphone socket (green cable) and you're sorted! Oh, make sure your XBOX is close by so you can give the headphones it's power supply via USB cable via XBOX.

For a set of headphones these are ridiculously complicated by headphone standards, the quality is good as your gaming experience will increase ten fold but the setup is just a pain in the ****.

If you can afford wireless, get them instead.

Haha, complicated plugging some wires in? seriously?

you plug the USB into ANY usb socket you have handy at the time, then plug the headphone jack into either your amp or TV headphone socket, that's IT all done.

Can they be used with a PS3? Thanks

am lucky enough to get the x41's for crimbo from the misses, must admit they are quality..

does the sound of the game come through these or are just for using to chat on xbox live to other gamers?

Both. You can also choose the volume of each seperatly. Therefore you can have the chat higher than the game sound.

excellent. i'd prefer to have the game sound louder than the chat because you get a lot of kids on talking rubbish. does my ears in lol
