The Ear Force PX21 integrates premium stereo game sound with crystal-clear communication on the PlayStation Network (PSN), XBOX LIVE® and PC/Mac to create the definitive audio environment for playing popular game titles on all platforms.

The PX21 is two headsets in one—a stereo USB headset for chat sound and an amplified stereo headset for game sound. That means you can independently control chat and game sound from a single control box whether you’re playing PS3, XBOX® or PC games. Large, comfortable ear cups with a lightweight, rugged design provide the ultimate in comfort during extended game play.

The PX21 gives you a significant advantage because you can hear sound cues others can’t, so you’ll react faster and take them out before they take you out. Unique gaming features such as variable bass boost, chat boost, stereo expander and convenient volume controls for chat and game audio, provide a competitive edge that can make the difference between winning and losing.

If you’re serious about your PS3, XBOX 360 or PC gaming, then get serious about the sound. Move up to the Ear Force PX21 and become a better player while experiencing your games as they were meant to be heard.

I bought a set of these a few months ago and have been very happy with them. Not many headsets available that are designed to work with 360, PS3 and PC out of the box

i know its wireless but because ps3 is bluetooth if you want to chat with them you have to buy a USB sound card (£3 ebay) then a chat cable i managed to get one off ebay for £9,99 works a treat ok i know it aint wireless then but its either that or pay £250 for the new PX5

Just a word of warning if you have a PlayStation 3 Slim & PlaySttion Move. You cannot use this headset at the same time as the PlayStation Eye. It is a common problem, it causes some sort of interference/power issue that means the PlayStation Eye keeps cutting out and doesn't track the glowing Move controller.

How would this work with the Xbox slim that i have connected using HDMI?

The same method works for either Xbox 360 or PS3 if you usually connect using HDMI

You also need to have the standard cable plugged into the back of your console. Doesn't matter if you are using component or composite, as the only cables you need are the red and white (left and right audio). The PX21 comes with a cable that connects to these and converts it into a single 3.5mm stereo connector - which then plugs into the inline sound card on the PX21 headset cable.

Sounds more complicated than it is. Only takes a few seconds to setup and you can leave it in place. The cable has pass-through connectors, so you can leave it plugged into the back of your TV, and only plug into the stereo jack when you want to use the headphones.

For the microphone it comes with a cable to connect between the sound card and the controller.

Or use HDMI still but plug your turtle beaches into either the audio out or headphone socket of your TV.

You're right, it does for me also boggydweller. I never clicked the link, just went by bmouthboyo's post. I've deleted my post, because I've just seen ASDA/TheHut also have it back in stock for ~£50.

anyone wanna buy a Zavvi voucher worth £45.45 from me? Zavvi refunded my money in form of voucher but there's nothing i wanna get from them. Willing to let go at £38. PM me quick!
#21
Just found a 10% code from TheHut in my email from a few days ago, it still works. I'm not going to use it, so the first person to message me gets it. It makes this headset slightly cheaper than Zavvi @ £45.77, plus cashback through TCB makes it £44.85. Against Zavvi which would be £44.92. Granted only pennies, but still cheaper.
#22
says out of stock? I am confused

Where are you all getting them from?
#23
These any good for use with PC?
#24
are these better than the x11s?
#25
Sold out :-(

I needed a new set to play wow and there all gone :-(
#26
They were £47.97 at my local Tesco the other week.
