I quite fancied these until I realised I would have wires trailing all over the place.

Some of the Pro MLG players of halo use these headsets from what ive heard there pretty good.

Had a set of these for a few months, really good gaming headphones. You can get wireless but they are £75...

Because there are many on HDUK who will see this and assume it does the same function as the MS one supplied with the xbox. What they are probably not aware is that you can get the stereo game sound (and voice communication) through the headphones......

I think a lot of people on this site browse the deals and think "don't want one, cold"

Cold.. buy them from the US.

Cost me £36 (about £43 after postage) to get the X3s from the US. There are plenty of new ones on eBay, lots advertised as the packages having been opened. Mine were but had obviously never been used.

My X3s are a great solution to getting game and voice audio without annoying the girlfriend but I wouldn't say they are too comfortable. The earpads don't give enough support and my ears hurt after prolonged use :-(

£45 seems very steep for fully wired ones (X3's are advertised as wireless but arent wireless at all either they just send the game audio over IR, voice still uses wires)

Under £40 from UK site

If you buy them from the us you will have to pay customs and VAT.....

The pic below shows how it connects

Why get them from the US with a chance of import duty. I have worn mine for extensive amounts of time with no problem with it hurting you mus t have big ears or something. Also after the setup there is really only 1 wire from the xbox to the headset like a normal pair of earphones. The X3`s are wireless (the actual headphones) yes there is a cable attached to the xbox but non to the actual headset. I picked mine up for about £40 from game a few motnsh back, they have gone up since.

I just got mine as a gift and it seemed ok, it is a risk though but these just aren't worth the UK RRP.

I have pretty small ears and i'm not the only person who has complained about the padding (hence the redesign on the X4s)

The word 'wireless' speaks for itself "without wires" if it has a cable attached then it is NOT wireless! No ifs, no buts, it's not 'part wireless' it just is or it isn't.
It's like saying "The ground was dry.. but it had water on it"

mmm! i guess its wireless game audio and possibly tv audio but not wireless chat (that would be overly complicated i think
