Slightly cheaper at Amazon and for me a better company to deal with.
#2
Yess but you dont get the loyalty points!
#3
would rather get them from amazon but they are fairly cheap at the moment so may look at getting a pair
#4
Amazon = Nectar points.

I'm not trying to compete, just giving another buying option.

Sorry but this is the normal price point for these (NOT a deal) and cheaper at Amazon so this is a COLD deal. I bought mine months ago for this price. Anyone who buys something from HMV without checking price online first is an idiot.

Is this model available for PC at the same price? My sennheiser headset broke, i sent it back to them but they wont give me a replacement, the guys trying to sell me a PC 163D with an "apparent" 50% off @ 85 Euro, which will be around £70, i can buy it online for £80/£90, not too sure what to do.....

What is the PS3 variant of the X-11? Just I've heard a lot of XBox gamers go on about this headset, but I'd like to purchase something similar for my PS3.

Turtlebeach X11 works on both PC and Xbox 360, you can also get the Z2 which is designed specifically for PC use http://www.amazon.co.uk/Turtle-Beach-Force-Gaming-Headset/dp/B003UQSGWK/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=videogames&qid=1301069172&sr=8-1 however also supports Xbox 360.

That would probably be the P11's http://www.turtlebeach.com/products/ps3-gaming-headsets/ear-force-p11.aspx since those are the same price range.

Cannot find the P11's at Amazon but they have the PX21's which are the next ones up. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Turtle-Beach-Headset-Force-PX21/dp/B002BU0DPE/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=videogames&qid=1301068437&sr=8-1

Mehh, cheaper here if you are not bothered about points http://www.lambda-tek.com/componentshop/index.pl?prodID=B580635

Few of my mates use them - the sound on their mic is poor when coming through my tv, but fine when coming through my headset, odd but annoying.

£34.38 inc. VAT, not really that much cheaper and is shipping free? if not it will be probably more expensive from there.

Really not that good of a headset, and more than likely won't last that long. Better off with a good pair of headphones and a clip-on mic.
#14
These have been around 35 quid at most stores for ages.
#15
Turtle Beach Headsets aren't bad but I prefer a Turtle's Head Beachset personally.
#16
These are far from amazing.

But to any casual gamer who plays games through their TV speakers I suppose even a £5 Netto headset will be "amazing" to them.
#17
seen them cheaper, and at £34.41 on both amazon and argos.. it's not much of a "deal" having said that, it's good headset for someone not wanting to break the bank though, the product alone would be given heat, and dont let the "turtlebeach" part put you off, they're not toys.
#18
Took my CoD game to another level. Don't think their superb though. I get a hissing sound on mine which is really annoying. Their starting to play up now as well
#19
Not a deal at all, they are this price at most places!

If you turn these up loud enough you will be able to here people across the map just as good as astros. These work well at loud volume. Only problem is the accuracy of the sound because there not 5.1 but there good for the price.

anyone know if you can use this with the 360 chatpad?

Nope. You'll need another lead to connect between them
