Blast! I was in Home Bargains this afternoon but did not see this.
Very good bargain for very good stuff.

£8.99 in Halfords? Are they the next Woolworths? fgs.

The only thing in Halford's defence is the fact they often do a 3 for 2 deal on items like this, but still expensive.

Not much of a defence! I am amazed Halfords still exists. They opened a new branch near me in Lanark. It is always empty.

Ditto .... I live in Lanark and the only people you see in Halford is the staff!

According to their website :-
"With over 190 stores across the country, there's bound to be a store near you."

Nearest store - 43 miles.

Ah well, I suppose it depends on your definition of "near".

43 miles to get a a halfords...... no thanks :)
oh man, there no home bargains near me, otherwise i'd pick up a few! these are really good.

Blimey! How can they justify that price? It's a disgrace. :x

...or just use Windolene. 'Nano enhanced' sounds like one of those made up chemicals in cosmetic ads.

Yeah true, the "nano" in the name is all marketing nonsense. But this is probably pretty good stuff anyway, at least the rest of the turtle wax "nano-tech" range like car wash and tyre black have good reviews. And window cleaner is normally around this price anyway isn't it?

Went into Halforlds last week to buy some car mats and asked the assistant where they were. I said that I'd seen them online at a good price and the webpage said they were in stock at that store. He told me that to get them at that price I would have to go online and use the reserve and collect service. I tried to explain that this was not a great option and could I speak to the manager.

The manager explained that he couldn't get around the system so I spent 10 minutes in the store booking and reserving to collect on my iPhone (which really didn't like some of their pages). When I had successfully completed the reservation and went to get them it turned out that they were not in stock after all. The staff member I was dealing with at that point just shrugged and told me it happens quite often...

Anyway, hot deal and if it takes trade away from Halfords even hotter!

Why is it nonsense? Do you understand hydrophobicity and superhydrophobicity and how nano particles can help it? Or do you have knowledge that it doesn't actually have nano technology despite the label?

Nice one.

I think you will find that I have an understanding of why "nano technology" would be beneficial, rather than having anything to do with Turtle Wax.

The name of the product sounds so cool I want to get one even if I don't have a car!
#22
I can vouch for this stuff being very good if applied properly. Found this especially good in the winter when demisting windscreen even many weeks after application.
#23
