If they put up the prices you can leave penalty free mid contract, dont ever accept a price increase

When will virgin and sky learn to stop ripping us off and everyone would be a customer.
Cancelled my sky 2 years ago and have I missed it, well after the first week that is..??
A RESOUNDING NO NO NO NO NOT WHAT SO EVER
best bit is what I save I get to have another holiday in the SUN
Let's do the math
A zillion channels with squat to watch & £100+ down every month or 2 weeks of fantastic sun ☀️ and cold

We was end of contract but renewed as we were told we could have it for a certain amount for the next twelve months if we stayed this was online chat , then we all got new price increase letter thru the door so we went online spoke to them again and told them what we was told but they denied it and my wife never kept the conversaiton so we had no proof any longer. It. Has Left a sour taste thats why i say dont belive what they say.

Why do virgin put up speed and then price as they always do. I dont need 50mb to send a email why cant they do 25mb for £15 for us people that dont need fast speed. I am totally sick of virgin media prices and the way they operate.

And you talk to them and they give you a discount, pay £22 for 150Mb discount last 18 months and Can do it again next time they have a price increase.

You are probably in the minority. They are competing with companies where speed matters and customers who want more speed and that will never change.

You need to keep all conversation with any of these companies same goes for sky. Guys on the phone can promise the world letters come with wrong details and you have to complain to get it out right. Sky do this frequently and an email to their CEO office normally fixes it virgin are probably the same.

Strange that, as I was also outright lied to by more than one virgin customer rep. The calls were recorded and listened to by a manager who soon crawled back into her shell. When reps are obviously encouraged to lie to customers you know something is wrong.

I had similar issue with Virgin. I called them on my landline phone, put it on loud speaker and recorded on voice recorder app on my mobile phone. Tried to deny the deal til i played it back to them. Got the deal. Dont take no for an answer.

i had problems with sky , so i installed an app on my phone(ACR google play and free) which records every call made and received. Half way through the conversation i mentioned this , the tone of the conversation soon changed and i got the deal i wanted. invaluable app, gets great results.

Does the £29 include line rental?

All B/B providers are now required to advertise with landline included in the price.
