Make sure your power lead/AV leads don't plug directly into the back of the TV ;-)

one of the customers that have bought the product pointed out that it comes with larger rubber bolts which allow you to put your scart cables and power cables in the back

"(just make sure you use the bigger rubber bolts to provide more space for inserting scart cables through the back of the TV.)"

Be sure to measure your mounting points before ordering.
I ordered this bracket because of its low price but in the excitement failed to measure the mountings. When I went to fit it I discovered the mounting points on my TV were 600mm apart.

Heat added.

don't use the built in spirit level.... its useless the tv was out by at least an inch when i used theirs. got my old faithful out and its now perfect

Think I'll get this

We bought a 32" flat screen TV a couple of year agos, but at the time, wall brackets were a ridiculous price, so we opted just to use the bedroom chest of drawers as the stand. That's why the lounge TV is actually smaller than the 2nd TV.

Thanks for the posting

can you recommend one for a 50" please

thx to OP - can anyone tell me please which are the mounting holes on the back of my TV?looked in the owners manual and can't find anything. I have a SONY KDL40 - there are 4 screws on the back of the set with arrows pointing to them which are 300mm apart and then some other holes towards the far edge of the set . Obv want to make sure this will fit my set.

I bought one of these last week. It comes with multiple sizes of screws and spacers to accomodate most televisions. Once I figured out which screws/washers to use, the only tricky part was drillings six large holes in a stone wall. There is some space behind the TV for the cables so I'd recommend it, especially at this price. I used the first class delivery (only £3.10). Ordered on Sunday, arrived Tuesday. Thankfully, they didn't use royal mail.

The following fits up to 60", I have the model down from this for my 32", and it has been fine, and easy to mount, I would certainly recommend.

I bought this one or one similar. The only negatives are:-

Real problem getting new cables plugged in
If the Sun shines onto your TV or you have an irritating reflection (as I do) you'll wish you had bought the tilt version.

Otherwise it is a cracking deal at the price.

Nothing says 'Chav' like bolting a 60" telly on the wall of a council house.

Must be a well off chav if they can afford a 60" tv

I got one of these and thought they were excellent value for money. It has two parts to it, one fits to the wall, the other to the tv. You then just offer the tv to the wall and then when in the correct place, you slide a bar along the bottom so it cant be knocked off. This makes the removal of the tv relatively easy if you need to change anything on the back i.e. cables, etc.
As wolf359 said though the built in spirit level isnt to be trusted :)

6.79 postage, but better price if you have the need of a larger bracket
#24
Any of the major retailers do these for cheap? Would prefer to pick up than pay 6.70 postage

I used to sell TV brackets, some are very shoddy ... and nothing is more tedoius than people buying 32 inch tvs in order to suit a room, and or appease SWMBO !
#28
Thanks, will go nicely on the back of the Tesco's 32" LCD I ordered this morning.

Got same TV and same bracket.
It fits!

Anyone used these with a 23" Samsung 2333SW monitor?
#31
I bought this exact bracket about a month ago for £14.99 from B&M. The one from there is the one with the tilt facility but it is the same one otherwise. As stated the spirit level is USELESS!!!!!!! There are some optional rubber mounts which hold the back of the tv 5cm from wall. There is plenty of room for plugs. Thought I'd post this reply for those you want it sooner and prefer to collect from somewhere.

Hi Frazman, Sony should be hauled over the coals for advertising their tv's as vesa compatible, THEY ARE NOT. I had same problem as you when I purchased a Sony Bravia 37" supposedly vesa standard set and the hole centres were 300mm apart, I had already bought a vesa bracket and the industry standards jump from 200x200 to 200x400 or 400x400, no vesa bracket is at 300 centres! I had to get a mate to weld an adaptor plate onto the vesa bracket I had purchased, when I encountered this problem I did a google search expecting loads of info from people with same problem, but no, nothing, seems like only you and I have come across this issue?

confusing stuff - thanks bulkomuff - seems i should be able to get it to fit as jimmy2007 states he got the same set mounted on it. fingers crossed

i meant to post the other day, home bargains have these in for £9.99 cant remeber what size it went up too though,so if anyone is looking for one it maybe worth checking out your nearest home bargains.

to the idiot that said about the chavs and the 60 inch tellys are you sat at home with a portable?
#37
Ordered the large one with tilt myself on boxing night. Was diispatched through amazon today. It cost 20.15 in total, however I've just seen the thread here and the link to the company on amazon market place selling it for 16.69 delivered. seems to be a good job
#38
Just browsing as ive just bought a new tv and considered mounting it. Anyway for anyone having cable issues where they protrude out from the tv into the wall then you might want to try a right angle hdmi adapter.
