Use Google Checkout to get £10 off and pick 5-day delivery. Seems like a bargain!

Note that it's Grade-A stock, so probably returns/ex-demo. I've bought a grade-a screen from them before though, and it was fine, no dead pixels or anything.

Important stats about the TV:

Size: 26" Widescreen
Resolution: 1366x768
Inputs:
- Component
- VGA
- Composite
- SCART x2
- S-Video
- Composite x 2

Other features:
- Freeview tuner
- HD ready (720p, 1080i)
- Wall mountable

[Edit]

Sorry, first 'Composite' should read 'HDMI'. Also, the price has gone down £7.82, now an even bigger bargain! Only 34 left in stock at the moment...

that looks like a bargain to me!!! Now do I get this? or wait for a 32" bargain!
#6
Well I thought i recognised it!!

They are the same as a make we sell called Kishu.

Now, the picture isn't amazing BUT don't get me wrong, for the price it's amazing!!!

I've just sent the link to my g/f for her mother and I'm going to buy 1 for my sister!

Compaired to a sony, philips, LG etc the picture will look grainy, contrasts not very vibrant... but you can have 2 of these for the price of just 1 of them :-)

Bargin!! Deff vote HOT!!!

Just to point out what was posted on the ebuyer forum when somebody enquired what Grade A meant, this is what the official reply was:

"Hi

'Grade A Goods' are "Factory Reconditioned" to the Manufacturers original specification. All goods supplied are 30 day high street store returned products (i.e. returned within 30 days).

With grade A stock there is always a chance that there may be a minor cosmetic mark. However, considering the price reductions, these are considered to be very minor and will not affect performance of the product.

All Grade A goods are supplied with a 60-day warranty.

Hope this answers your question.

There's no industry standard for measuring contrast ratios so the figures are usually completely irrelevant.

Does anyone know the width of this set ?

It does look a bit 'clunky' but for the money one can't complain. I really fancy the Samsung 26" that is available for £399 elsewhere but that's a big price difference just for aesthetics....what to do

Is there really a noticeable pic difference between this and LG / Samsung etc ?
#10
60 day warranty is absolutely crap, if they were really 30 day returns why not a full 12 month warranty dont think i would buy it
#11
mikeyw.... yes! put this lcd next to any others and you will see a difference! OK.. next to a Bush/ Goodmans or Walfdale then not really.. but any top brands... yes!!

If your not a big TV watcher or need a 26" tv with free view on a budget then you can't get any better than this!!

Please note.. if you use an anologue telephone, it can make these tv's emmit a high pitch noise!!

We have had quite a few reports of this with KISHU tv's... which are identical to this!

I have the LG 22" monitor with analogue tuner on order from play at 199.99, thinking about ditching it for this as main use is for bedroom tv with a little wii use.
Any thoughts:whistling:

Touch decision... Was looking at a 26" Samsung that has freeview built in. I realise theres no way the quality on this will rival the Samsung, and although your definately getting an extra £160's worth with the Samsung, the price on this just seems too good to pass up... Really dunno what to do :(
#14
Awesome price, I really want a samsung though. :)

Unfortunately, I missed the LG at £200 - I had it pre-ordered for 230, but cancelled for this. I think at £200, I'd have stuck with the LG - It's much higher resolution (1680x1050 vs. 1366x768) and would make a much better PC monitor. Depends on what you're using it for I suppose... I'll primarily be using the monitor to watch TV and play games, but I would have liked the LG as a primary monitor.

I just got mine today - It's perfect quality, it's new as far as I can tell, no dead pixels or anything - the only thing that's missing is the manual. The digital TV quality isn't great, but it isn't bad either - I'd recommend using an external box though. The de-interlacing quality is excellent and the refresh rate is high enough that I don't notice (probably 8ms I reckon, fine for playing games anyway). The sound quality is surprisingly high too.

Very much enjoying playing my Wii in progressive scan on it :) (no v-sync problems on this set with the Wii either, as there are on many others (including my previous LCD TV))

I'm glad I picked this over the 22" LG screen, and I'd highly recommend it at this price to anyone else.

sorry to dig this out but its still hot
