Just nipped up Sainsbury's again on the mystical Easter egg hunt and while they had a pallatte of eggs at 70% off I couldn't find the 44p for 3 cream eggs.

So I decided this was the best deal as it comes with a mug. I thought, "ooh Buffy", but it is not, so I left it. Not a big fan of chocolate, especially now Cadbury's is in US hands.

They had loads, like they had just been brought out and were still to be found by the punters. Night night.

£1 at Tesco

I haven't been to Tesco today and am attempting to illustrate stock at this supermarket. You sure you didn't just pull that info an all eggs and mugs £1 at Tesco type deal because I thought this one looked a bit nicer.

64p at Morrisons

Well it's nice that if Sainsburys had the cheapest cream eggs that other deals are available if and when they sell out. £1.20 for a mug is a good deal, especially if this brand appeals to you.

Morissons will make their money from you in other ways. Asda had no good egg deals, only when I got to the check out did I spot the 25p bags of 100g of mini eggs.

I saw these mugs (quite small ones) in my local Sainsburys in Exeter but I'm sure that it was not an egg in it - instead it was a selection of sweets. Do they have these mugs with a chocolate Easter egg in as well, if so, I might try Tesco?

TBH, I was only after the mug, from the picture it looks like sweets and I don't recall it having much weight or an egg shape to it.

Now 50p in Sainsburys

Noted, thankyou. Just stocked up on rotting fruit and the associated bubble wrap so won't be making another trip. The city centre store had cleared all its Easter stock yesterday.
