Virtually Half price with good screen size and that ability to play 2 different DVDs to save those arguments over what to watch!

Also battery powered so I assume could use away from the car as well. Good reviews so couldn't resist at that price!

"Keep the family entertained during long car journeys with the Technika dual portable DVD player. Equipped with two 9" screens, this in-car DVD player lets you share one film between two screens or watch two different films at the same time. Additionally, there is also built-in stereo speakers, and input sockets for your headphones.

they are also the only 1s that are safe if you crash its worth it just for that in my opinion as the cheaper 1s were flying off the holders and hitting the kids in the face

Seems to me like every kid has their own tablet these days anyway making this completely obsolete.

worth the extra imo not to have something flying around the car, smacking into the kids' heads in the event of an accident... it's like people buying a £30 car seat because it meets the 'minimum' standards required by law, despite the fact there are safer seats out there that have been more rigorously tested.
