Some people's cameras/devices might not go up to 4GB + Some people prefer to have seperates to spread the risk of losing data.

not all cameras are HCSD!

Where have you seen 4GB cards for £9?
#11
Quite right, but for me, I reckon the SDHC cards at £15 for 8GB is far better value. Voting hot, but not tempting me.

£8.99 and cheaper deal

http://www.play.com/Electronics/Electronics/4-/3342833/Play-com-4GB-SD-HC-Memory-Card/Product.html

using the code £8.51 so much better deal

As has been pointed out earlier in this thread, over 2gb's SD cards are SDHC and so not always compatible with older devices.

Great... One for the camera and one for the laptop to serve as extra RAM with Vista.

Gets a hot!!!

Got a couple of the 2gb ones today, Quidco + 5% voucher = about £9 for the 2

phantox you could change your order online via your account on play.com add the 2gb ones and then remove the 1gb ones.

A quick Q - I've read loads of recommendations to only buy major brand SD cards, preferably Sandisk. Does anyone know how reliable (long lasting) Play's own-brand cards are? Thanks!
#26
Good deal for the pair!

I bought 2x1gb and 2x2gb cards for "Tom Tom" and "Camera".

One of the 2gb cards has to be returned as it is non recognisable by any of my players SD card reader Camera etc. "Faulty"

I am led to believe that Plays cards are made by Toshiba!, no proof ot fhis though to back it up..
#27
... Opps sorry  FYI i did search, but i searched 'sd hc' as opposed to 'sdhc' hence it didnt show any results. :whistling:
#28
Great deal, ive had a few of these now and play's own brand has in my experience always been toshiba - just peal off the play.com label, job done!
#29
