Ideal for when the power companies put their prices up 10%.

I had two of these in my backpack a while ago when my wife took a tumble while walking in the wilds of the Isle of Skye and badly dislocated her elbow. They were brilliant at keeping her warm until the air ambulance arrived. They weren't as good as the free helicopter ride to Inverness though! Thanks for the reminder to replace them!

Yep, I don't consider regularly stocked items like this in pound shops to be 'deals' really - it's not like they're on offer, they're just...that price all the time.

Does it really matter, it may save someone some money

How? They're not cheaper than they normally are in there.

I bought a few of these late last year before the frost and snow started - handy to have a couple in the car for that "just in case, hope I never need them scenario" along with the high vis jacket, warning triangle, jump leads etc.

The size is posted in the original description but it's worth having a think how well you can wrap yourself up in it - and at 50p each it's hardly breaking the bank if you need to buy a few more.

    Thanks OP!

Just what I need to finish off my 1:1 scale model of a lunar excursion module (and chuck a couple in the car just in case, and no it's not a lunar rover I'm talking about!)

An item doesnt have to be reduced to be a good deal - you wont find these cheaper elsewhere so its a hot deal just like the HDMI cables that are always posted on here - that reminds me they havent been posted on here for a while :p

Hot from me, something I keep meaning to get.

As posted in the op's other thread, these only weigh 35g, so stuff it in your backpack & forget about it.

Thanks for the post, didn't know that poundland sold these. Far cheaper than Go Outdoors and these have multiple camping/hiking uses - I use several of these when i'm camping for tent protectors, shelters tied to trees when its raining and ground sheets to sit on..
