Picked up a couple of these in Aldi the other week, they look exactly the same anyway. Very bright but the top and bottom are prone to unscrewing in your pocket which can make them stop working or go dim.

The batteries are in little packs of 4. Don't do what I did and not read the instructions and cut the batteries out the holder thinking it's packaging. They're a right pain to put in separately.

Still not bad for £2

Thanks for that Aspman - I had a look t these in my local Lidl but didn't buy as it wasn't clear whether they ran on four of the batteries at a time or just one of them. Now you've clarified it's the former, occurs to me that could run out expensive buying these four pack batteries each time.

Bought 2 packs last year, batteries are still okay but obviously depends how much you use them. Main problem with them is coming unscrewed and having to find the bits. One has packed in working for a reason I cannot work out which means I effectively have a spare battery pack.
