They are ok for the price. Heads/metal can be a bit soft and the screws are quite often tarnished and rust easily. Their "gold" screws are better quality the cases with assorted sizes are really useful....

I have used many boxes of these screws (mostly 1.5" and 1.75") over several years, particularly to fix floorboards - some of which have then been lifted and refixed several times. I have had no problems with the quality of the screws - if you will accept perhaps a couple out of 500 that had malformed slots. I don't know why SF discontinued them - presumably because they were such good value. Grab any you can!
