Doesn't discount until you get to the checkout. Also check that the purchases are all from Amazon for the offer to work.
#5
yup all from Amazon and at checkout it comes up at just over 18 quid. weird!

Wanted to get Rain Man in the 3 for £17 offer but didn't particularly want anything else...will have to wait 'til next time.

Got two titles in this offer for a bargain - Starred Up and Like Father, Like Son (both of which haven't been this cheap before).
#7
NOTE: I had to get Amazon to apply the discount manually via chat as it wasn't working otherwise.

it's more a documentary, but with no dialogue. but it's shot on 70mm cameras and the quality on the blu ray is mind blowing. never seen anything as good, you can see absolutely every detail in every single shot. just wish i had a 60" tv to watch it on! i can't believe it's not more well known or talked about because people are genuinely surprised when i put it on for them (i sound like a bit of a dodgy salesman here but i know quality when i see it and i wish all blu rays looked like this)

since i obviously own baraka already, i bought close encounters and the truman show X)

I tried to place an order for 2 titles in the promotion and it didn't apply the discount at checkout. I called Amazon to explain, couldn't understand what the advisor was telling me to do and then he put the phone down on me!

Hate these deals sometimes, Once again it's taken me over an hour reading PQ reviews and such like to finally arrive at 2 titles worthy of replacing my dvd's for. Ordered Misery & The War of the Roses for the Danny Devito Commentary missing from the uk dvd. Thanks to OP.
#19
Thanks for this
#20
cheers.

Life of Pi and Prometheus to test out my new 4K TV :)

The discount disnt get added to mine until confirming my order after the payment and delivery

A lot of must have's here - which I already have, natch. :)

However, a megaton of ones I do not. Thanks OP.

I recommend JFK which has been a tenner minimum for a long time. I picked it up at rakuten with a fiver off code if memory serves. (Great for the Kevin Bacon game)
#23
I watched the Truman Show recently and it was really good, very touching

not for me. after the order, the woman I spoke to on webchat (not phone) had to change the price by applying the deal manually.made her do it while I was there.

you should enjoy it, especially the speeded up shots of people going about their business in the city... makes us look like ants !

Transporter 1 and 2 for a tenner. Sorted.

Great deal.
#29
went for Ghost In The Shell 2: Innocence and the 1966 Batman movie
#30
Thanks OP bought 6 for £25 with the £5 off £40 spend mastercard code (PRICELES5). The subtotal was more than £40 so the code worked.
#31
What's the point... Just use sky, Netflix or youtubeonfire....

I know as I have ps4 and blurays. Very few films are worthwhile buying on bluray in my opinion. Most of these you'll buy and watch once and then they'll be left on a shelf collecting dust pretending you have a good bluray collection...

Not everyone watches films on a rubbish 32 inch tv through a games console. You cant even compare streaming and sky to owning a blu ray and watching on a proper set up. Quality, extras, ownership.

A few decent music blu-rays in this deal... Sex Pistols, Rolling Stones, Metallica, and also some great music documentaries.. It might get loud, Marley and Lemmy.

Also Dark Star is a great and very funny space film if you like sci-fi (it's john carpenters first film), cheap at this price.
also LA confidential is a must buy IMO

just a few picks you might otherwise not have noticed 8)
