Seem like some really good prices, especially compared to other operators (Expedia cheapest two day break to Prague is £152 pp).

Prague is a beautiful city, well it was when I was there 10 years ago! Standing on Charles Bridge when it's all lit up at night is one of the most magical places to be.

I'm sure inflation and the exchange rate have had their effect, but you used to be able to get a pint for 18p!

Deals all include flights, hotel & breakfast, including:

Prague £74 pp
Barcelona £91 pp
Amsterdam £114 pp

sorry have to vote cold i any package is a rip of just do it urself and works out cheaper ive just been to prague and got hotel and flight for under £40 per person each for 2 days

All these 'cheap' deals are soon seen to be a waste.

You leave late one day and come home early two days later, giving you one full day IF you are lucky enough to be well rested.

Fat chance of that!

Prague has been ruined by cheapo visitors and tacky cheap stag parties.

Hi,
I'm looking to go to Prague in November as a 40th birthday treat for myself. Could you give me details of who you flew with, what hotel you stayed in and whether it was nice? I'm hoping to go for about 5 days with a friend. Thank you. If you could PM me the details that would be lovely.

I have to disagree with you on this one. Prague still remains a remarkable location to visit. You can avoid ALL of the stag parties if you really want to (until the flight back, of course).

Whatever you do, don't go to Prague.

Yes, there are some beautiful buildings. I too loved the Charles IV Bridge at night, all lit up with the snow falling.....gorgeous!

The big problem with Prague is the seedy sex industry. Even as my OH & I held hands walking along a street you would be getting leaflets pushed into your hand which were vulgar to say the least. And believe me, I'm no prude! Sitting in a restaurant or a bar, flyers would be getting left on your table. The sort of flyers normally associated with London telephone boxes!

Donal MacIntyre did a programme on it the other week about how young girls from Romania, Spain, etc are being sold to club owners.

Please don't go!

Donal MacIntyre could do a programme like that on any city if he really wanted to, even glasgow... but he probably fancied a trip out there so picked prague.

"I'm no prude" LOL

Prague is a beautiful and exciting city with plenty on offer, ok you might not want to take the kids there but you can't condemn a whole city based on a couple of seedy leaflets and a documentary.

Perhaps they should install more telephone boxes so people can have somewhere to put their flyers! :whistling:

Yep, agree witht eh positive posts on Prague. Been there 3 times in the last 2 years. Both business and pleasure. Fabulous city. Prague and Barca rank as my top 2 Euro city breaks no question.

Most of the stags have moved on to Slovakia, Lithuania, Ukraine etc now anyway.

Not cheap though. The low cost beers and feed can be found, but you have to go outside the tourist traps of Wenceslas square.

I have stayed at the Hilton which was pure luxury but very expensive. Also, I can recommened the Hotal Jalta. Wonderful restaurant and bar. Again, not cheap but for a 2 day break a great experience.

So, no one should be put off by Prague, its fantastic, romantic, great architecture, wonderful walks, fab shopping and good beer!

Yes agree about Prague & barcelona. I'm off to Prague from East Midlands next tuesday for £2 return all in using an electron card. Good old Ryanair .

It would be smashing if Arsenal were top of the Premier League...but that is irrelevant as well.

Great deal, H&R added.
