Took a cutting from my neighbours shrub once. Now I can't kill the thing. It's smothering my japanese quince. I cut it back to the ground n by end of summer it's grown more branches some taller than me.

The full size ones are thugs!! ...and they self seed. Get that mattock to it.

I think these new dwarf ones will be manageable. Mine will definitely be in pots.

These are tiny. I bought 2 a few months ago and even now they are only 4 inches tall. :|
Yes, I got some in the autumn - the magenta and the lavender colours.
Being plugs they were dinky, of course and they haven't grown overwinter. I didn't expect them to. I cut them back so that they would grow on bushy and popped the trimmings in a pot of coarse compost. I will see if they take or not - I expect them to. I think that being buddleia they will bulk up nicely.

Wonderful - just ordered. Thanks OP.

Thanks chesso - nice find. I was just about to order the set of 3 for £14.99 (using my £10 voucher and free P&P code) but this is more of a bargain and I can use the voucher for something else. Heat added!

Kaks - it's already free P&P as it's a GW offer; perhaps find something else in the GW bit and add the 20% off code!

I think I just misunderstood what you were saying!! So, yes - good move.X)

I did try to add something else to make up to the voucher but it then added postage after that so removed that and just kept the 2 buddleias for £3.60. Think the free P&P code in the other thread ends tomorrow too so may use my last voucher for more bargains.
