agreed, awful programme

Yeah it's pretty much on continuous loop on BBC3 - not much point in buying the DVD set.
#7
They made 6 series of that rubbish. Dear me.

I can't seem to find Virgin Megastores on Quidco. I know it was there the other day, but now when I search it's not there:?

Was just about to say the same thing -they're not currently on TCB or rpoints either so must be a general thing. Hopefully only temporarily!

Well done amibees! I was getting ever closer to ordering this off Amazon for £45! Glad you posted this

Ordered and voted Hot.

Guys, I hope you're not voting the deal cold just because you don't like the show.

I absolutely despise The Royle Family but when the whole set was posted at £15 I still had to vote it hot because it simply was a good deal. Two pints has many fans, hence the reason it ran for 6 seasons, and is really aimed at the younger crowed.

You're absolutely right! I had it in my favourites, too, and it's now gone. Their wine, mobile etc is still there but no Megastores :-(

Agreed I also hate the show with a passion... but is Bobby Davro any better? Haha :whistling:

its a good deal - glad i sold my set on playtrade for 45 quid earlier this week otherwise id have been left with it.

not that i thought it was bad, but my wife was more a fan, but shes watched them all and if she wants to rewatch it well as mentioned bbc 3 have it on all the time.

sheridan smith aka janet was the only reason i watched - yummy :)

I couldn't vote it a good deal at £3.40 per DVD. They made around 30 hours of this drivel so it's just over a pound an hour, which is at least 99p an hour too much.

Furthermore, as others have said, it's also virtually on continuous loop on BBC 3 and seeing as we all pay over one hundred quid a year to help fund the Beeb, I'm jiggered that this bag of shi*e is for sale when they see fit to serve it up again and again and again on "Freeview" :x

So, for these reasons, for me it's colder than a penguin's chuff

I haven't voted on this turkey out of principal....but I agree with the above poster in that at £3.40 per DVD, I don't consider it a particularly good deal.

What's it got to do with money per DVD/hour? Screwed up logic for buying DVDs.

If you actually want this box set and intend on purchasing it, you'll want it at the best price available. This is easily it by £11. Hence, it is a hot deal. If you don't like the show then it's a bit pointless commenting as you probably wouldn't take it at £1/disc.

If you went around buying DVDs simply based solely on the £/DVD/Hour ratio then you'd probably end up duff DVD collection with many DVDs you'd never actually watch...

You obviously don't get sarcasm:whistling:

Probably why you'd find this pile of cr*p hilarious:p
#21
I don't care what you say, that's a poor example of sarcasm if it even qualifies... :? If it was sarcasm, it wasn't obvious by the tone of your voice (- that's sarcasm).

I admit I enjoy the show, but it's hardly mind-gripping. You just have to take it for what it is, and that's silly, almost-mindless, humor. For that fix I have South Park and this. When I'm in the opposite frame of mind I'll watch something more mind-stimulating.

Warm from me.

Price isnt that great, can get it from HMV for £36 with student and Quidco.
With it being on all the time, i'd wait till it hit the tenner mark.

And after a few bottles scrumpy, when you put some candles around the field and you put a pretty pink nighty on the Dolly the sheep, every Saturday night is pure heaven down your way!!:p
