Tyre Pressure Gauge @ Tesco store for £0.12

£0.12 @ Tesco
I've come across a Tyre Pressure Gauge in Tesco store in Ponders End reduced from 25p down to 12p. I don't really think it's hot deal but you must admit it is a bargain ;) Picture for presentation…

Picture for presentation purpose only but the one from Tesco looks exactly the same.

great price, will be store specific as it's leftovers from the £1 range, but as pressure guages tend to be around £6+ in most placed, BARGAIN!!.

shame they don't do depth guages.

It was a bargain @ 25p!

Great to keep as a spare.
Check it for accuracy though, and adjust the reading accordingly!
Voted hot.

I've got a few digital ones and I can never get them on to the valve fast enough. I always end up letting out what must be a least 1 or 2 psi whilst I struggle with it :-D

Great find. Heat added. :)

Nice one, i have this same item.. as im using it for checking my bike try pressure. It's good and accurate.. Nice Price anyways...

I had one of these a while ago, they're terribly inaccurate and as such quite useless. It's only a bargain if the thing you're buying is worth something!

Go to Halfords and get one of their brass ones for £10, they're very accurate, very durable, and you won't ever need to buy another one.

Bought mine when it was 50p buy one get one free. This is amazing, a very niffty little device.

how would on test the accuracy of such an item? Surely, if you're going to buy on of these, you don't already have one and therefore have no comparison. If you do have one already how would you know which one was accurate or nearest?

Well, you'd have to compare it to some professional equipment to know for sure. Personally, I know my expensive one is more accurate since if use a cheap gauge I over-inflate my tyres hugely and my bike slides all over the place. Honestly, £10 is more than worth it for the accuracy of a better gauge; don't skimp, especially if you ride a motorbike.

I never understand why people get depth guages? Surely the little markers on the tyre are enough?

I stuck my one on my tyres after inflating them using the pump at the petrol station and it read 32 PSI, the same as the cut off point I set on the pump. Thats accurate enough for me :)

I've got 2 as I use one to check my mountain bike tyres which often sends the guage way off the scale which I think messes up the calibration. The other one I keep for my cars only.
