Jump to unread Post a CommentThats just your opinion (and mine!....U2 lost the plot when they stopped being post punk!) but is voting on the deal that counts, it is after all the single collection not a "best of" and a good price...I wont be buying it (can't stand the bands output after they sold out to be too political and stadium rock), but still voted hot.
Not meant to be 'best of', its a selection from their singles back catalogue, but still contains some excellent material. If you want 'best of' you buy 'best of 1980-1990' or 'best of of 1990-2000' but you will have to spend a bit more for them. Then there will be the people moaning that track X,Y or Z wasn't on those best of's, but they have to draw the line somewhere. This is probably a good compilation for someone new to the band (if there are any!) but its a good price for those that are interested.
Which is laudable, until you realise they'll flog you every other format to make a few more bob.
If you're a U2 fan, you'll have them all anyway, and most people can make their own CD collections easily on a computer. If you're wondering what the fuss is about with U2, then you might the only group who this caters for, and it's a good price.
Oh dear not more pointles trolling from people who should really just keep their mout shut.
Thanks for the contribution trollboy.
I'd hate to think what you consider good music then:whistling:
 Yawwwwwwwwwwnnnnnnnnnnnnnn.
(your post doesn't warrant any more of a reply than that)
What a poor team selection, your team are more wooden than our avatar's put together and thats a lot of wood! Don't forget I know where you live
Anyone that spends £2000 flying his forgotten hat half way round the world then bleats about how important he is loses any respect, and this kind of **** self importance reflects in their music now. Before this 'transformation' it used to be about the music.
Tell me where Bono said that, I'd really like to know.
Bono also commented on the state of our world without Idealism, under siege by materialism, narcissism, and "all the other 'isms' of indifference." Touching on his own excesses and indifference, he said: "I've seen success as the drug of choice. I've seen great minds and prolific imaginations disappear up their own ass, strung out on their own self-importance. I am one of them."
Hope this is a clear enough example for you....
