Its all about psyche. At full value, the game probably does not sell as well, but knock off 50p and sales get a boost. Supermarkets do this a lot, people think they are getting value or a huge savings, when in reality its just a marketing ploy - the truth is if we really cared about the 50p, we would just turn of the tap whilst brushing our teeth or turn off the computer/tv instead of standby.

I think you mean psychology? What you're saying is partially true - humans tend to look at the relative saving even if it's not something they were considering buying originally. It seems like you're getting something for a bargain so it's worth taking the opportunity to get it while you can - that principle won't be a surprise to many people on this site, which is all about deals after all.

But I don't think it's just that. The pound, as the major denomination, is a psychological price point that many people don't want to go above. That's why some things are priced at £9.99 instead of £10, for example - for all intents and purposes, it's still £10 but your brain sees the nine and thinks it's single digits. Therefore, higher sales.

I'd suspect that the opportunity to buy something in pence (especially a game from a major publisher) has a much greater appeal at 50p than £1 for those reasons.

half price is a pretty good saving, and i had forgotten about the game before I saw the deal tbh.

It could also be that some are able to precisely price what they want. The majority of people probably can't or won't bother, but I don't see anything wrong with valuing something at 50p instead of 100p. Many would do the same for a can of drink or a chocolate bar.

Anyone know how much these cost if you buy all the IAPs? I'm just interested to know the price of the full game.

yeah it's fun. kinda like angry birds space with regards to gravitational pull but without the annoyance of hit and miss physics.

Assassins Creed Pirates £0.10? That's just stupid! But is it any good?

It's not bad. Worth a try at 10p anyway.

That's okay then! I know it's cheap but it could be a really bad game!

Good points. My only argument is completely off topic, but psyche does refer to the psychological build up of the mind (synonyms of it include, subconscious and intellect), and thats what I was refering to - a state of mind.

Rayman fiesta run is one the best games on android. Loads of levels and they keep adding new ones for free. Jungle Run is good too.

Highly recommended.

Sadly Rayman games (or most likely all Ubisoft games) insist on logging in to G+ account every single time you open them and gazillion pop-up boxes have to be cancelled. I don't have one, I don't need one and I'd appreciate if they could just p**s off with this option.

I have found the opposite with Rayman Jungle, there appears to be no option to sync with G+, Facebook or even Twitter
