Cracking price for these

Looks good. Anyone been able to compare with JBL Flip 2? I have the Flip 2 and just compared it with the Bose Soundlink mini. It was a tight contest but the Flip 2 won at only £50, the Bose at £125 was returned.

A few reviews I read compared this with the Bose and it edged it, however they're in a whole different league price-wise to your choice. Not sure the price jump would be worth the small advantage.

Yes, I am wondering if its pretty much the same but twice the price as was the Bose. These speakers are becoming addictive a bit like the Sonos, once you have one you just want more.

Tell me about it. Have the original mini boombox, full size boombox and now 2 of these and 2 minis. I've been loyal to the UE Brand although there are lots of decent options out there.
Already have wireless music in 2 rooms at home so that's more than I need!!!

Apparently there's also a £10 off £100 spend on priority moments

Also £10 off a £50 spend with amex

I think the only real benefit you would get over the much cheaper flip2 was if you had two of these to get stereo sound. your in Sonos play:1 price range then though, unless you need the portability one play:1 would be better quality than 2 of these imo

Thanks OP. I missed the black friday deal and had one of these on my hit list for a while.

well I haven't learnt my lesson from the last PC world debacle
Went in to pick up my reservation. Item hadn't been reserved, was still sitting on the shelf, at risk of selling out in the colours I wanted.
Took half an hour from being front of the queue to leaving the store - everything from staff waiting around chatting and ignoring customers to not knowing how to process the order....

however I left the store £183.05 lighter and two speakers heavier
They are absolutely awesome.....they've blown me away, almost literally, with the power they can pack from such a little device
The look and feel of them is top drawer, they're definitely worth what I paid for them but probably not great value at £340 (rrp)

For anyone who's on the fence....go to a store and connect your phone to hear it and you'll be convinced

Yeah PC World/Currys the worst retail service ever, I'm surprised they keep going.Fortunately for me it worked in my favour as their stupidity of not knowing their own 10% off the difference policy. The young lad didn't know how to calculate 10% (LMFAO) and the other staff members didn't want to help so instead of giving me 10% off the difference he gave me 10% off the wrong amount. I think I got £45 back instead of £33, it all helps and served them right.

Amazing price for a fantastic speaker, I have 2 of these and they're so much better than anything else on the market in that range, and at £99 a steal!
