You'll have to excuse me then as i must have missed it on Hotukdeals when I carried out my reserch for the last week.

But just to point out as i've already stated this is the cheapest around at this present time unless you can find cheaper so technically this is a good deal.

Also with the present economic climate all photography prices seem to be on the rise with the pound being so weak.

Going back to the bag, seems to have got good reviews all round 90% from a big magazine brand :)

Brilliant find! I've been after a small backpack to take my camera to barcelona and I was a bit worried about having people nick stuff from it. I love the way this zips from where your back is so it's a lot safer when you wander about.

Just ordered one (from amazon for £40 with free delivery rather than £38 from the market seller as I need to make sure I have it in fortnight.) Cheers!

Thanks for the post but I'm afraid deals for ebay sellers, play trade or amazon market play are not allowed on Hotdeals..............

Edited title so price reflects that on Amazon, rather than marketplace

agreed, most people on here think a tesco carrier bag or some garbage from asda is good enough
think ill stick with my slingshot which is ok but not ideal but excellent quality

39.97 now...4p saving...whoopee!

Bought one of these from Amazon, for £39.95 about a month ago, nice well mde bit of kit, I can get my Nikon d60 slr with standard lense+ 70 300mm lense+ Canon ixus 70 + mini dv camcorder + leads and charger and a few bits and bobs.

Excellent bag and value, before this I thought camera bags were just usual bags but they are not, everything is secure in this and if you dropped it your gear would be safe.

Voted hot:)

H & R added

Now reduced to £39.86 !!!

I prefer and recommend the Lowepro Fastpack 200, Got one last week from www.mymemory.co.uk at just £29.99 with free delivery (Took 3 Days). The fastpack holds my DSLR + Lens and about 3 more lenses, plus it has the big advantage of a large upper compartment to store a packed lunch etc.

Bought one, thanks! Don't get too hung up on deals going cold just after you post them. It seems to happen to most deals due to people who live on the site just to click cold, as it gives them a feeling of power and control missing from their own lives ;-)

Genuine deals always find their heat, just like yours!

I've had a Lowepro Slingshot 200 for the last year, it's an awesome bag and I'd highly recommend it.
It has a single strap so you can spin the bag around to the front for easy access to your camera. It also has an attached waterproof cover that folds away when you don't need.
The only bad point is the strap can be a bit uncomfortable if you overload the bag as the weight distribution isn't as good as having a strap on each shoulder. With a 40D, 2 lenses, flash and accessories it's perfect though.

Lowepro Slingshot 200 is £47.02 at Amazon

Now 33.95 + del  Hot for me

It's über, with the umlaut, or if you can't use them or don't want to, it's "ueber".

Thanks.

Got my bag through today and it's just as good as previous reviews have stated!! my 400d fits nicely with ample room for when i upgrade to the 50d!! plus all my bits 'n' pieces i bring along ie nifty fifty, joby gorila pod and my point and shoot and i still have lots of pockets and hide awasy spare

How can i forget the best bit, the flipside arrangement works a treat and you can shoot away in that position no problem! although look a bit silly but hey who cares as long as it works

Anyway just thought i'd fill you guys in

Yer ive been after a slingshot for a couple of weeks now. But iam still abit unsure what bag to get. Hows does the slingshot compare?
#28
Slingshot is less comfortable to wear and is smaller in terms of the kit you can fit in. If you're going to be carrying around a flash, tripod and multiple lenses then the Slingshot is completely unsuitable. The Flipside 300 looks lik ea great all-round bag, think i'll order one myself.
#29
Hmm, the slingshot will carry a couple of lens and flash easily. I think I prefer the slingshots design, with the way you side it around your back. Still not sure tho
#30
Well I've got the Slingshot 200 and regularly carry around the following kit
Canon 40D
17-85mm EFS
70-200mm L USM
Flash
Velbon ultra maxi tripod
Charger and 4 batteries
Filters
I carried this lot in the slingshot 200 every day for 3 months while I travelled around Asia and the weight was fine, although this is the limit of what I would carry.
If you had another large lens packed it would probably be too heavy.

Cool, how did you attach the tripod to the slingshot?

The slingshot has two rubber straps at the front and one on the side, I just slid a leg of the tripod through the two front straps. The Velbon ultra maxi is very light and compact, so this probably wouldn't work with a bigger tripod.
