LMAO @ UGG

wonder if they appear in the book "Boots for dummies.. "

Cause my sister has boots that look identical to these, and she paid < £15 haha.
I love people who need a status symbol. or think brands make them cool!

As if 15 quid ones are any match for the quality of UGG X)

These are a good price but i really don't like this style at all.

5 pairs for £75,,, who cares about top quality when they look the same.
my sister has had her ones longer than her mate who has UGGs.... and still look OK.

I love people who think pathetic comments like these are funny...

The reason most people buy brands is for the quality not for the name
#8
that is very untrue. if you gave someone 2 pairs of boots, 1 UGG, 1 non UGG that were identical, they would choose UGG because they expect them to be better because they are soo popular.

Most buyers are stupid, which is why companies do well once they have managed to make people believe their product is better than any others, and then charge stupid prices.

A lot of brands like this produce their stuff in the same workshops in China as other cheaper brands, they just do not have the logo on them. Its cleaver.

Personal opinions are fine, however most people who already have uggs would pick uggs again as they know the quality difference.
I posted this as deal, as the rrp is £149 but the price is £70 therefore it is a good price for uggs.

Ignore him/her katie they obviously wear blinkers when you see women wearing the copies and they are walking over on them sideways, the real UGG's don't do this.

That is so not true, look at the watch industry for example, Fossil manufacture watches with various "branding", such as "Armani", but they certainly are not quality watches, functional but not quality at all.

That is a very clear example of a name trying to sell a product, perfume is another, with many celebrities getting perfumes licensed with their name.

Cheers for that, and your completely right, the amount of girls I see in primark versions and they are all squashed in at the back!xx
Absolutely fine if you don't mind that look, however if you want quality ugg is where to go, not just for the name, but for the standard of them which is shown in there feedback and the amount of ugg wearers :)

£70 to get a pair of strong uppers. All men's shoes and boots have good uppers and have done for fifty years. What have we learned? That men know more about shoes. :p

Expensive pair of slippers..
Should keep the local chavs happy with their "£200" boots.

Primark versions may well not be the same quality, we all know that. However, that does not detract from the fact that these boots are way overpriced, as are many 'fashion' items. I will buy a pair of well made quality boots from TK Maxx for half this price......as I always do, and a few months down the line, I bet they still look much better and less tatty than Uggs bought at the same time. I've seen people still wearing Uggs that look a mess and need replaced but because they have paid over £100 for them they can't afford to buy another pair.

If you want quality you have to pay for it.

I think many of you forget hukd is about deals, this is a deal wether you think they are a overpriced shoe or not or even if you dislike them.

Why have cotton when you can have silk?
If you work hard for your money then spend it on whatever you want.
Why wear cheap tat when you can afford quality!
Great deal Katie :)

agreed its a good deal for UGG'S and I gave it a hot vote, but think UGG's are overpriced even at £75. As I still believe you are paying for the brand and not the quality.

That is complete rubbish!

I had my reservations about Uggs and last year I bought myself a pair of the Argyle Knit ones. I have never worn anything as comfortable, they keep your feet at a comfortable temperature without having to wear socks and they look just as good as they did the day I bought them. I wore them all last winter and in the rain too. If I wanted to buy another pair I could but I don't see the need because I am happy with the ones I have at the moment. My daughter bought the classic Uggs last year too and they are still in very good condition. The primark ones I bought a couple of years ago lasted 5 minutes and were really bad for your feet because you go over the side of them more or less the minute you put them on.
If Uggs are going to last2 winters(which mine will at the very least) I think it's money well spent for the comfort alone!

do you have any kids? i feel sorry for any children you currently have or will have in the future if that's the way you think, they wont last 5 minutes in the real world with clothing or shoes that look identical to branded ones but cost £2, people can tell and they will get mocked

fair enough not everyone can afford decent clothing but just admit the fact that you can't afford them, rather than say the cheap rubbish ones are just as good because they aren't

I don't understand what this has got too do with kids. If you are going to buy kids these then they prob won't appreciate them and I would get them some fake ones. I think most will have fakes anyway!. Theses are expensive but if you have the money then you'd buy them if you thik this is a bargain :).
They have fake ugh boots for £10 in asda though:). I could buy these for 70+ but I was raised to be tight with money :p
