GO AND GET IT NOW. It's an amazing phone with a 4" screen, Android and also PS integrated, I don't own any PlayStation devices never like them but it's nice to own something like this.

Starting to show it's age now. I love this phone but many games now (whilst compatible) lag like hell, the new Asphalt being a big one, minecraft also isn't as smooth as it should be. I tend not to use it for gaming so much now, but I have to agree with the comment above about emulation being really good on it.
Mine has been returned to Sony on 2 occasions to be repaired. Firstly got a static type pic on it, 2nd time camera stopped working (froze phone when used).

Also the amount of onboard storage on this phone is p*** poor.

Currently playing legend of zelda ocarina of time all the way through again. So enjoyable while stuck travelling somewhere. Have no desire to upgrade in the slightest, love the phone.

I already completed it all the way through on my Xperia Play. Hadn't done it since I got it for Christmas back in the day. Awesome game. The Play works really well with it.

...and I agree on the 2nd part too.

I would never overclock a mobile CPU

most aren't actually overclocking more unlocking from a locked speed
oh yes I see I do this but I would never increase the voltage etc

I would never overclock a mobile CPU

Mine overclocks when in heavy use, and underclocks when not in use, doing this has given me an extra 12-18 months use on my last 2 smart phones without having to experience lag.

Nokia Lumia 800 (SIM Free) £199.00 delivered @ Amazon

Amazon have now brought the price down, thought it would be worth a mention if you don't want it locked to Orange like the other deal that was posted.

Your contacts should still be on hotmail &/or gmail wherever you first synced them from.
Zune only backs up pics, music...not a great piece of work really. A full settings bakup would be much better, but if you want to see WP7.5 gripes you'd best head to Windowsphone forums.

Unfortunately I upgraded my phone from a Nokia Xpress Music and used the Nokia PC Suite software to do the migration, once it was done and phone had been working I uninstalled the Nokia PC Suite, which also deleted the contacts list! Funny thing was it was only last week and I toyed with keeping the contacts list and thought "Nah!"

Doh!

For those complaining about the battery draining ,, turn off the find my phone feature (untick both boxes)

Bizarrely find my phone still works!

Thanks a lot, will try this.

I think a decent handset for that price. Usually around £300 or so.

theres no headphone offer anymore peeps.... bcoz amazon is not an official retailer and should not have had that info on their website... and the lumiamonster website doesnt recognise the IMEI from the lumia i recieved from amazon... the words '' wild goose chase '' come to mind ;)

When you apply for the headphones just give them the number, doesn't need to be active.

Won't happen plus the offer has closed due to all headphones have been claimed

SORRY! 0 0 0 0 headphones left

The old offer, or the new one? The original Lumia Monster offer doesn't have a countdown of headphones left. You enter the original number that you used to text to take up the offer, then it asks for your IMEI and address details. The number isn't needed to claim, only to send the original text.

I phones carphone warehouse today and was told that the handset is £119 on Vodafone upgrade.
There are pros and cons about BBs - remember this is an entry level phone so don't expect it to do all the songs and dances! But for what it is, it is good. I got this from Orange @ 139.99 plus £10 for top up. Quidco cash back is £24 so worked out at £115.99 plus top up. Not a bad deal!
As someone who works for cpw i can save you alot of hassle and say please dont buy one.Blackberrys are our most unreliable phine making up 70% of repairs.I get sick of telling customers not to buy them and go android or even windows. And before anyone says mines been brilliant answer me this,do you work in mobile retail? No i doubt it.Im sick of seeing kods getting ripped off buying these boring non entertaining and hardley any apps pieces of junk.If ive managed to put one peraon off then thats a good result.

Absolutely horrible interface, non existent app store, fiddly mousepad in the centre with no touchscreen.
I have one of these as my work phone (supplied by my company) and I have an HTC Desire S as my personal mobile.
The touchscreen and Android on the HTC make them a million times better than this poor excuse for a handset. My advice is to steer well clear and look at HTC or Samsung touchscreen phones instead.

I am with you I also have a curve as a work phone...hate it, I have a 2 year old HTC desire as a personal phone....love it
