Anyone bought from these before? UK Paypal isn't valid on here, and it's impossible to create an account using UK postcodes and phone numbers. Is there a way around this? I'm not sure if I want to use Google checkout, then find out there's a $30 international postage and import duty on top.

(Edit) Amazon can't be shipped to UK addresses either. Looks like the free postage is for US customers only.

Not bad both on spec and price. However as my existing lappy refuses to die, I'm going to wait until the end of the year when Intel bring out their Ivy Bridge CPUs. From what I've read, the integrated GPU in these things should be good enough for a lot of proper games.
very good spec, and not a bad price, sandy bridge is the way to go,

Or pretty much the same unit for less:

http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/samsung-rv510-297-97-saveonlaptops/918275

Ok it's only 2gb ram and slightly smaller HDD, but 2GB ram wouldn't cost £90.

Most people won't fill 500gb on a laptop.
DADSCAB

Personally, I'd sacrifice a little of the HDD space for an i3 processor - there's a few about at this sort of price. If you need the big hard drive, externals are cheap and internals are easy to swap over. If you do need that space for media usage, the better processor is likely to be more beneficial anyway.

/my 2p
Can you show me a laptop with i3 processor at this price please? I'll buy it right now

Heres one

If you want everything bang up to date you have to pay through the nose for it mate, if you got £360 quid to spend this ain't a bad deal for the spec IMHO if you wanna spend a lot more for top of the range kit, then these are the guys for you.

That's a nice set up there.
I have 2 of the HannsG HZ281HPB, this has a H in the model number instead of Z so I am not sure what the difference is as they look the same.
My 2 monitors are absolutely brilliant and top quality. I usually buy Iiyama but was too expensive for 28" so I bought these and am 100% happy.
Had 2 of these and they both went faulty after 3 or 4 weeks, they both had the same fault... the monitor would display hundreds of little red dots when there was a moving black image (like on youtube or iplayer) they wasn't dead pixels as they only came when the monitor had been in use for a hour or two (if lucky). I was told its a common fault and others had returned them with the same problem.
In the end I got a viewsonic 27, it was £20 more but they let me off as i'd been mucked about alot already, so it was like a good will gesture.

Would quite like a 28" monitor, wonder what the picture quality is like.

Got this from Currys today for £129.99. Returned a Sanyo VPC CG 20 which was absolute rubbish and got this. Very pleased with the Samsung. So much better and only £30 more. Also looked at the Sony which has a better zoom but after trying both out I found with these small cameras as soon as you zoom in past 5x optical it becomes very shaky ! Also the Sony cams are ugly and dated. This has touch screen, optical stabilisation and funky tilted lens. Buy it trust me you won't be disappointed. Grab a transcend media 32gb card (they say class 10 but more like class 6) from amazon too. On 1080 super fine camera is telling me I can get around 252 minutes at highest rez !

Argh, knew I should've ordered it from somewhere else. Crescent Electronics are a shambles.

1. Ordered a specific motherboard from them (mATX) for obvious reasons. They sent an ATX motherboard, using the excuse that the original one I ordered was discontinued so they sent the ATX as a replacement. It would've been quicker to call/email me and ask if I was ok with the ATX board, or use some common sense and cancel the order when they saw I'd ordered an mATX board which they couldn't supply.

2. Ordered the 30g tube of thermal paste which clearly showed as 'In Stock' when ordering. Waited, and waited. Checked the account, showing as 'pending' although they debited my account the day after ordering. Now showing as 'Out of stock', and no communication to say so, nor when I should receive my purchase.

All in all, a joke really. Wish I'd never cancelled my order with QuietPC now!
wow - very hot, but why would you need so much unless you are a system builder or change your HS&F or CPU every week?
Nice one djfluff! I completely missed that when I looked on there when ordering my new board!

Order cancelled with QuietPC and order placed with Crescent :D Cheers!

Currently £229 in selected (large) Tesco stores - hope this helps people - contact your nearest tesco and ask which local stores to you have them. The £229 is very good - price was £329 before Christmas and the TV I got in Tesco INCLUDES the dongle in the box either though the box says it's an additional extra.

For BBC I Player fans and Youtube lovers it's a good deal in my opinion. I have seen sharper pictures on other TVs but i am happy with it and think at £229 including the dongle it's a very attractive proposition.
Are you having a laugh when THIS: http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/sony-bravia-kdl32ex403u-lcd-hd-1080/836238/?page=3#post10208013

Awful reviews for these. They were originally sold exclusively by M&S but now several places are trying to get shot of them at these low low prices.
These are the M&S branded tellys that were on sale for £249 before Christmas. O.K, this might be the best price at the moment but take it from me, M&S sold a shed load of them but a good percentage went straight back due to various problems including packing in within minutes of initial set up and some not powering up out of the box, not to mention the supplied dongle not picking up a wireless connection in most cases(although no such problems with an ethernet cable). Saying that, the ones that do work give off a surprisingly good picture.
Don't think it is a M&S own brand, ebuyer do them here

http://www.ebuyer.com/product/248868

Think M&S just sell them(_;)
Awaken
It should be noted that this is a marks & spencer own brand TV, so dunno why buy have em (graded / refurb?). Might just be excess stock! On the other hand it does have BBC iPlayer support built in, as well as YouTube, other web channels, and media streaming of apparently "every" (take that with a pinch of salt) file format over a home network. Not bad for £269, just wish I'd ever actually heard of the brand! Still, if M&S have em they can't be too bad :)

Not even an appology from them. What a shower of sh.t they are. Hope they go bankrupt some time in the future.
Mike.
Great deal for a 17" with that spec and price with quidco, HPs aren't that bad a brand, thousands of our customers use them everyday with very few issues. Ordered it as a Xmas gift for a friend on Friday and have an extra 2GB of RAM on the way from Crucial for £20. Buy.com got it to Citylink the same day but it's still stuck in their delivery office :(

Cheers mate. I think there has been a Seagate for about ~75 quid which is not bad at all. Also, the users of this WD have been haunted by the parking/unparking issue and the advanced format, so it might not be the best choice anyway.
