Described by many as the most easily navigable prehospital medical guidelines available in the world. This is the only licensed version of the JRCALC (Joint Royal College Ambulance Liaison Committee) guidelines currently available on the iPhone. These guidelines offer one of the most comprehensive compendiums for the management of all prehospital emergencies. These guidelines are adopted throughout the U.K. as the "Gold Standard" of care.

Apparently this edition has a chapter on the use of leeches and the beneficial letting of blood which may need updating... :D

The only thing that worries me is the fact is someone is lying dying, whilst some paramedic is cursing his iphone battery dying and is therefore unable to administer the step by step instructions!!

I bet it has a few viruses :)

Well its been going about four years already ... its pretty half decent in that JRCALC PDF file is also free but totally unviewable. THis thing isnt quite the whole book but its Emergency Drugs section is very handy instead of having to sift thro' the book when yer in a hurry or its not on yer person ... I'dve paid a fiver for this but no more to be honest ... I'd like to know why its not just been reduced in price but given away!!! :-/

Good, but could do with some vids

Doesn't work with 3.1.2 - Need the 3.2 Update.
#26
May be free now as resus council guidelines have just been updated meaning app is out of date.
#27
Thanks for the share - even if you are not in the medical profession never hurts to have an ap like this at hand - like have a medical book in the house.
