Another great thing about this phone (I've had mine for ~8 months) is when you're messing with it at 21:00 at night, you get a "Connect your charger, 15% remaining!" warning, you think to yourself "Great, I can keep messing and put it on charge at midnight when I go to bed.." :)

Apple has lost the plot, and now Samsung has withdrawn their Galaxy 7 because of poor manufacturing, it's time to leave the herds and get yourself a decent phone for just over £100. ;)

since more then 6 months OP is promoting this brick (phone) despite not such a great reviews, Xiaomi note 3 pro is much better and reliable phone, I think it's time to move on, I personally avoid thick brick shape phone in my pocket, although I am using note 3 pro prime and satisfied with the performance but I will never compare it with Samsung or Apple etc etc..... it still not compatible with eBay PayPal , amazon prime and so on.................

"For Fulfilled by Amazon orders, returns are handled by Amazon in compliance with the Amazon.co.uk Return Policy."

Absolutely worth the extra £18 from Amazon instead of gearbest.

Samsung haven't withdrawn the Galaxy S7 or the S7 Edge. Are you, like an awful lot of people, mixing up the Note 7 with every Samsung with a 7 in the name?

This below makes interesting reading if you can be bothered going through the over 200 pages. To cut things short many issues reported with the device after around 6 months all occurring.

Battery life dramatically decreases after around the 6-8 month mark.

Flaky Bluetooth with the MM update.

The LP to MM upgrade had to be flashed manually rather than OTA. Which they also placed the wrong file online and you had to reflash.

Many reports of dead pixels and screen failures. Repaired under warranties after quite a wait on getting the devices back followed up by some negative reports of the workmanship of the screen replacements.

Reports upon teardowns of the ROM that they are shipping with Malware inside the official roms.

I've not voted either way.

Hi from my cheap Chinese phone. :D

My Sony is made in Japan, partner's Samsung in S.Korea. I recall my first Blackberry was made in Canada. But children have various Chinese ones, work well enough.

I wonder if the battery is anything close to the stated amount? I know that cheap Chinese batteries are never what they seem. If it is, I'd also be wary of having such a lithium-packed unit for such a budget price, given Samsung's recent problems...

Re OP comment about Apple losing the plot - I'm sure it was tongue in cheek but if they have lost the plot by getting so many millions of people clamouring for phones that start at £600 and go as high as £919 then I'd like to lose the plot too.

Wibble...
