same price on dabs - http://www.dabs.com/products/logitech-ultimate-ears-superfi-5-earphones---liquid-silver-6JRJ.html
if u can get free delivery, then it's cheaper at £35.25 for the earphones only.

great price, i prefer the Klipsch S4s myself

which are better? super 5fi or vi?

don't believe the bad reviews...
i have these babies and i have the UE 700 .... I can tell you that these ones are a very good rival for the UE700...and actually can better them when it comes to rock/heavy music...as they have a wider sound-stage and much warmer mid-range

unfortunately, the SuperFi5/5vi are being discontinued because Ultimate Ears are reaching down to broaden their customer base! and i guess this will be reflected on the build-quality...

nevertheless...grab the SuperFi5 while you still can...they're absolutely a bargain at this price!

The SF5vi are the same with an inline microphone and controller that is compatible with iphone..

The only difference between the 5 and the 5vi is that the 5vi don't have a slider to tighten them up because they assume since you want the microphone, you'll need them to be on your chest not behind you!

If you like to wear them with the cable laid behind the ear, like i do, then you're better off with the SF5... The SF5vi have the microphone a bit up so that if you get the cable behind your ear, you won't be able to make calls...

one important thing though, since these ones use a relatively rigid cable, they suffer from cable noise...so it's advisable to wear them behind the ear.

As for MAGICBEANS, I have tested the Shure SE102 and the SE210 side by side with this pair.... and let me tell you this:
1- SF5 are smaller and fit better in your ears, especially if you have small ears;
2- SF5 have a richer and warmer mid-range that does not affect the clarity, on the contrary, it gives an awesome feel to the music;
3- SF5 have stronger bass, not as stupidly loud and muddy as the sennheisers do, that is well-defined and doesn't roll or leave you with permanent hearing impairment!; and
4- SF5 at this price, are unbeatable!!!!

I'm seriously astonished how the Shures are so overrated where as almost every decent musician use Ultimate Ears or Westone!

Last but not least, they may be single driver IEMs, but they definitely rise up to the performance of many Dual drivers out there...

thanks, ordered!

Just as a counter argument, I bought these for £30 the other week. They were very bright when I first got them, but people suggested that I run them in a bit. I have done now and they do sound better. They do sound very clear, but still a tad too bright.

Ordered, have been looking for a replacement for my sennheiser CX300IIs for a while since the 3.5mm connector broke on them.
#11
Been looking for something like these... I had a pair of Shure SE210s and loved them (but lost them :( ).
Hope these will be at least on par..we'll see.
Thanks op

I've got the 4 and they're better than my bose and senheisers... I'm a great believer that headphones are down to personal taste to a certain extent, I've always found UE headphones to have great clarity, some just prefer more/less bass, treble etc... I like to hear everything nicely balanced and I find the 4's I have do the trick!

I had these and was delighted with the sound quality - but they failed very quickly. Logitech refuse to provide support in the first year and insist you return to the retailer so make sure you buy from Amazon and not a 3rd party. Price is very good but Play.com briefly sold them for a bit less a while ago.

Bet they're not as good as my Shure EC5's (which were under £100 when I got them about 4 years ago). My pair of SE110's are pretty poor in comparison though :)

Generally very favourable reviews of these based on £120+ cost. At this price they are a stunning bargain.

Ordered a pair, and then went back and ordered another.

Ordered as the left ear-bud of my shure e2c's has stopped working and they're useless at replying to support emails.
Thanks. Heat added

The Shure EC5 run a dual driver IEM, so it would be unfair to compare against a sigle driver such as the SF5, but from my own experience with both UE and Shure, I can almost say confidently that the SF5 can match the EC5.

Plus, if you're talking at the EC5 level, then you should compare it against the UE 4 PRO (custom design) as they are of similar price tag.

If you want something with very detailed, bright, crisp and not over-whelming, I suggest you try the UE700. Dual drivers, tiniest you can find around, comfy, and doesn't cost that much (it is too much @ £130 but, in the dual-driver world, this is peanuts)

Nice buy. I've got the SE530's and they seem to be steadily going up in price.
Haven't tried their lower end models, are the differences really obvious?

These look like a good buy for the price.

Just ordered these from Dabs last night, bought the 4s from play the other week for £18 but after getting them decided I wanted the Vi version so I can answer calls on my iPhone.

Delivery in 1 to 2 Months! Or £75 from Marketplace

After a good pair of earphone as an upgrade to my sein cx500... Im always very nervous to part with so much for a set of earphones! But £35 doesn't seem too much for what seems to be high end? Are they even worth that much?

Very good price :) Ive got a pair but personally prefer my SoundMagic PL50's.

I had the Triple Fi 10vi's. I loved them, but given how flimsy they were (and quickly they broke) for £150, I don't think I would revisit the same company.

I disagree – the 4s have incredible clarity, especially for the £17.99 Play were selling them for. What they lack in bass they make up for in balance.

I was a bit disappointed with the bass on the 4s but was still generally very pleased with the overall product especially for £17.99, hopefully the 5s I've just ordered will have better bass reproduction.

I ordered these from play.com when they were £29.99, but they're still 'awaiting stock' though....

I've been tempted to re-order them from either dabs or here though, as I'm not quite sure whether they'll ever get stock again!

Looks like they're back in stock @ play.com for £29.99! :)

Just ordered these from BT shop(which I believe uses Dabs to supply) for £40.34 delivered. For some reason going through Quidco brings up a price of £35.25 while going direct to the BT shop shows as £37.60. Quidco should be just over £1.

Bo**ocks. Utter Bo**ocks. I actually just got a set of these replaced via Logitech yesterday (I can post the email if you wish) and told him I purchased them from Amazon and didn't have the reciept. He asked if I could take a picture of my earphones with a referance number written on a piece of white paper included in the picture. I sent ht epicture at 10:35am yesterday and had a responce saying they have issued a replacement and UPS tracking number by 11:50am.

Couldn't be happier.

Very different from my experience - I also have emails confirming my original comments - so your robust response is a little unfair. It seems that Logitech's customer service may lack consistency.
