Excellent earphones. Play had them at £39.99 recently. Dabs have them at £38.75 delivered... Reviews on amazon are great.

The blurb:
Immerse yourself in your music with the SuperFi 5 noise isolating earphones from Logitech.

Top-fire armature design You'll enjoy a snug, secure fit--no matter what you're doing--and well-rounded sound with an extended high-frequency response--perfect for listening to a wide variety of genres.Find out why Fall Out Boy, The Killers, and Leona Lewis wear Ultimate Ears products and why that benefits you.

Flexible and secure listening You can choose how you wear them based on your needs at the moment--down for casual listening or over the ear when you're active or exercising.

26 dBs noise isolation Ten included ear cushions make it easy to find that "magic seal" that blocks outside noise--like plane engines--and envelops you in sound. What is noise isolation?

The unique top-fire speaker design gives you the flexibility to fit any situation you're in the moment you plug in. Wear them down to listen casually or over the ear while you're exercising. Either way, you're hearing just the sound of your highs and your lows and everything in between. Nothing but full, crisp and clean, well-rounded sound. That also means virtually all the outside noise is gone. Your neighbor on the bus won't hear you and you won't hear him. You're welcome.

Excellent - I've been wanting some higher-end headphones for a while, but I've been too cheap to splash out after paying about 20 quid two years ago for some CX-300s. When it comes to stuff for myself I'm a tightarse :D

..and again, must be the third or fourth time a deal for these has been posted in the last couple of weeks. I've had them for about a week now (from Amazon), only thing I'll mention is that when using foam tips & depending on the size of your ear canals, you might need to push them in with a little force to properly fit. Good earphones!

I'm sure they are very good but RRP £149.99??? Would anyone actually pay that for ear buds? Heat for the sale price though.

LOL at the RRP

£150 is a mid ranged pair. I wouldn't use these TBH. I wouldn't actually want anything with less than a triple balanced armature set up for my main pair. Something like the Westone 3 or UM3X, maybe the Shure SE535 or even the Audio-Technica ATH-CK100. My main pair is these

I would if I was buying a decent pair for monitoring whilst DJing but for now I'll stick with my closed back over head Ultrasones.

I bought the Superfi 5vi's from dabs a few weeks ago for a couple of quid more, well worth the extra cash it if using with an iphone etc.

Beware of play.com - they will accept your order then will say 'awaiting stock'!! happened to me twice.. and when you ring them asking why they haven't despatched the item, they say the item is not in stock and are not expecting it to be in stock any sooner! So, why did they take the order - its not their fault as its sold by another seller!! oO

these headphones are great only if play.com will honour your order.

Can you clarify that you ordered from the Seller PLAY.com and not through their trade market?

Mine were posted today (ordered last night)...

I got these from Play for £29.99 a couple of weeks back. They are a stunning bargain for anything like this price and made me sell my old £80 pair - which were good, but inferior to these.

I really didnt get on with these at all. They were very light on the bass, prefer my Goldring GX200's.

I personally think it depends how you like your music. I like depth and bass and didn't really get it with these. Good buy if you like a differetn kind of sound though.

obviously i can't answer for them, but Play do that all the time.
can't tell you the number of things i've 'bought' that have been "awaiting stock", but never shown up.
had one particular item in my account for fully 2 years, never got it.

general rule of thumb with Play: if you try and buy something on sale and it shows up as 'awaiting stock' in your account rather than 'packing' or something that suggests progress, you're not going to get it.

I've had that with Play.com too, they sent me an email after 9 months saying the order was cancelled though, which I thought was nice of them oO

i had bought the UE700 dissapointed so far bass isnt really there all reviews are high why? good mids but lacking in the bass. placed on the foams still nothing!!

Hmm my cheap creative from fleabay are better on bass. hmmm ... So are these better in the department i need them to be!

Been waiting for mine off play for weeks..AWAITING STOCK

Ordered. Most i've ever spent on earphones, I hope they're worth the dosh! Supplied by Play.com not a trader. I would strongly advise everyone to avoid buying earphones from traders. Six months ago, I bought some Creative EP-830's from a play trader. Packaging and product looked spot on but i discovered they were definite fakes. Play.com not interested and only got my money back if i withdrew the feedback. Never again.

BTW, Nuwidol's earlier post has a link to his main pair of earphones. Turns out they are Ultimate Ears UE-11 custom monitors. Yours for the bargain price of £998.75!!! The world's going mad i tell you.

I agree with Ricky and alfie786 - I bought these at £38 from Amazon and returned them this week.

Not good, even at £38 - I have had many headphones that were less expensive and much better sound.

Have to vote cold as the price vs quality does not add up for me.

got mine from play last week, from placing order to receiving delivery took 4 days. For me these iem's are better with the iphone than the sony ex500's however when using my x-series walkman i prefer the the sony iem's. (as i listen to an eclectic mix of music i tend to switch the eq to off). Overall imo they're good headphones at this price. Heat added

Are you waiting for the iphone version on these? I am and mine are also marked 'awaiting stock'. I phoned Play.com last week and they told me they may not be getting them back in stock. I asked them to keep the order open just in case. It's a poor show really, because they hadn't contact me to tell me that I may not get my order. The person I spoke to at Play told me that was the way they usually deal with out of stock items. In fairness, I have used Play for many, many years and this is only the second problem I've had with them.

Once they arrive I'll report how good they are - I'm expecting after burn-in they should be better than my CX-300s :D
#24
CX-300 are rubbish, I'm not sure how they got such a good reputation, I have a genuine pair and they're boomy and have loads of cable noise, my Metro-Fi's and Shure E2C are much better.
#25
My SuperFi 5 VIs are still 'Awaiting Stock'! Been waiting since August.
