Not seen this anywhere near this price before. Previous best price was £14.99

A spine-chilling compendium of creepy horror movies comprising:

Creep (Dir. Christopher Smith, 2004): Trapped in a London subway station, a woman who's being pursued by a potential attacker heads into the unknown labyrinth of tunnels beneath the city's streets.

28 Days Later (Dir. Danny Boyle, 2002): Four weeks after a mysterious, incurable virus spreads throughout the UK, a handful of survivors try to find sanctuary.

Blair Witch Project (Dir. Daniel Myrick & Eduardo Sanchez, 1999): Follows a trio of filmmakers on what should have been a simple walk in the woods, but quickly becomes an excursion into heart stopping terror.

The Omen (Dir. Richard Donner, 1976): An American ambassador learns to his horror that his son is actually the literal Antichrist.

Dog Soldiers (Dir. Neil Marshall, 2002): A visceral horror about a squad of British soldiers on a routine training exercise in the wilds of Scotland. Their greatest worry is missing the football until they stumble upon Captain Ryan - the sole survivor of a Special Operations team literally torn to pieces. Ryan refuses to reveal the secret of his mission even though whoever (or wahtever) ate his men is keen for second helpings....

From Hell (Dir. Albert Hughes and Allen Hughes, 2001): In Victorian era London, a troubled clairvoyant police detective investigates the murders by Jack the Ripper.

Deathwatch (Dir. Michael J. Bassett, 2002): In the height of WW1, the few survivors of an English regiment, trapped behind enemy lines, take refuge in a deserted German trench, waiting for their rescue. When no help arrives one by one they begin to suffer mysterious and gruesome fates. Slowly a terror beyond all human understanding is unleashed...

Wrong Turn (Dir. Rob Schmidt, 2003): Six people find themselves trapped in the woods of West Virginia, hunted down by cannibalistic mountain men grossly disfigured through generations of inbreeding.

Jeepers Creepers 2 (Dir. Victor Salva, 2003): Set a few days after the original, a championship basketball team's bus is attacked by The Creeper, the winged, flesh eating terror.

The Sin Eater (DIr. Brian Helgeland, 2003): Alex Bernier (Heath Ledger) is a member of an arcane order of priests known as Carolingians. When the head of the order dies, Alex is sent to Rome to investigate mysterious circumstances surrounding the death and soon finds himself plunged into the heart of a mystery...

Even if the films are a good few years old now, they're still - mostly - worth a watch in their own right; so 10 films for a tenner is a good score in my book! Am sorely tempted to order this too.. damn HUKD for making me spend money I *could* save.. even if it is for bargains! :p

Bonus! I did wonder about that when I could only seem to see the listing with The Hole and not Dog Soldiers included, on HMV; unlike everywhere else.. have ordered already anyway; so that's even better!

This is a brilliant deal. I have most of these already so won't be buying - but I paid more than this for 28 Days Later on it's own when it was released! Some really good films in there. Particularly love Jeepers Creepers 2, 28 Days Later, Wrong Turn and Blair Witch.

Anyone know what the box is like? Is it a digi-pack or all the dvds in seperate cases? Thin cases or normal cases. I'm a fussy dvd collector.

lol i know what you mean - my brother got this from CEX recently for £10 - and to answer your query its 10 standard dvd cases, basically the normal releases in a hard cased box. its a really nice looking set and very sturdy.

managed to get if for £7.99 with £2 voucher from MCdonalds. :-)

bargain - some real classics in there

The original Omen is a strange addition to a boxset where the rest of the films are all from the early 00's.

Prices like this make me wonder even more why people EVER rent things out!

Indeed.. but perhaps it's something to with the licenses for distribution? The cost of, particularly..

I wonder if it's a mistake and it is actually the 00's remake in this boxset

Have received mine this morning, and even though I haven't broken into the clear wrap around it yet, you can see that it says "The Omen ©1976 Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation" as part of the back of the box blurb..
