Weren't there barbecues like this withdrawn from sale at Morrisons because some collapsed. These look very similar.

I was going to buy one then! Good deal for a BBQ though!

what about after you used it. Wont it still be piping hot and fire hazard in the car...

Even at £20 on Amazon it's still cheaper here.

I'd like to see what this looks like after it's been used. I imagine the heat would take the black paint off pretty quick and probably buckle the steel plate too....

The one I had lasted for a week of camping. After the barbecue we used it as a campfire. It did buckle and discolour slightly after that sort of treatment and we ended up leaving it behind at the campsite. But it was a great bit of kit while it lasted and it did save a lot of space on the way out.

That was a £25 version from Waitrose. Hard to say if this would be the same or poorer quality without actually seeing it...

They look very flimsy, and £20.00 could get a lot of disposables. Not voting either way as I haven't actually seen one - who knows, they may be solid as a rock!

No, it will freeze. What do you think? Unbelievable question!

Very flimsy. If you want to see one in the flesh Go Outdoors have them for the same price.

We have just returned one to Morrisons......the grill that the charcoal sat on buckled with the heat and the coals are too near to the actual grill, meat burns very quickly, and you can't adjust the height of the grill.
