Yes, it's essentially a smartphone from a couple of years ago with a bigger screen and won't be able to run any normal application or won't support any of the more interactive or badly made websites as it doesn't have flash support, which means no youtube or website games.

Spend a little more on a netbook with a normal X86 processor (anything by Intel, AMD or VIA) as it's going to be far more capable.
oh well it was a nice idea. cheers m8 for adsvice

From the HMV Site:

Starts with this:

SURF - Browse on the move. Check out the most viewed videos on YouTube or find out what your faraway friends are up to on Facebook. With a host of other websites available, you will always be in touch with the Net Browser 3000.

Then says this:

Customer Notice: - Please note: The Net Browser cannot be used for Online Gaming or otherwise. The Net Browser will not be able to display Flash-based websites. Not suitable for corporate email access. For use with Broadband via LAN connection or via Wi-Fi at home or other compatible hot-spots. Attention! Not suitable for use with Broadband Dongle

Considering Youtube is flash based I wonder how they can justify this contradiction?

I would avoid this like the plague!
sounds like a Disgo Net Browser or an Asus Eee PC

Certainly not an Eee PC as its windows CE based - even the most basic of eee PC would be much more useful than this.
I was looking at these the other day and I can so far see no point of these even being on the market?! They serve little to no purpose especially woth £100! You'd be better off using your phone!

Not at all

Disgo thingy: Windows CE, jumped up smartphone using ARM processor, not a PC

Eee PC: Linux/Windows, x86 compatible processor, a proper PC

Avoid these things like the plague. They are an Amstrad Emailer for our times!
CE = c**p extraordinaire...
