I know this isn't the console on its own but the Nintendo Wii has once again proved to be the hottest selling product for the lead up to xmas and is on many kids xmas lists and this is why it's been so hard to get hold of these consoles.

The console comes bundled with 4 games (1 of them comes as standard with the console, which is Wii Sports) and also comes with Prince of Persia which is supposed to be decent but also with 2 of the best games on the Wii including the extra rare games Super Mario Galaxy and Wii Play (which is selling for upto £70 on Ebay and Amazon because it also comes with a free extra controller).

For £299.99 you'll receive it by tomorrow if you complete the order before 5:30pm today but I can't see Shopto having many of these instock, considering much larger stores keep running out of stock within an hour, so if you're looking for one, make the order asap.

Hope this helps make someones perfect xmas. :)

P.S I know that some people will inevitably buy this for profitable sale on Ebay but I do urge people not to do this, as I could do this myself rather than listing it on a forum for everyone to take advantage but I'm sharing it so kids will get the xmas present they want so much.

is this worth it? is it for real? or is it spam?

I voted hot as well.

why cold? i voted hot!? Someone enlighten me :?

console been on wilkoplus for £169 so even with the games still quite expensive - but yet again these are like gold dust so depends on situation
#4
Dear retailers, please could you stop trying to make yourselves extra cash from the Nintendo Wii shortages by putting together bulls**t 'packages' and charging people way over the odds to buy things they don't really want. Just sell the freakin consoles if you have them. Ta
#5
Well it's not worth it. £180 for a wii, £33 pounds for mario and pop and £30 for wii play does not add up to £300. BUy it separately. It's only the console that's hard to get, and if a place is offering a wii bundle, then they should surely sell you the wii on its own.
#6
I know this probably isn't the cheapest Wii bundle but at the moment, the Wii seams to be selling for around £300 for the console on it's own on Ebay, while Mario Galaxy is around £40 because it's also going through a shortage and Wii Play is sold out everywhere, which is why it's selling for upto £70 on Amazon and Ebay, plus Prince of Persia, which is around £20.

So in total to the market value, it's saving around £130 and will be with you tomorrow, which is what happens when everything is hard to find but if you obviously ordered this earlier in the year, it would of been a little cheaper but that's when it was easier to find one.

Market value? WTF? Whatever happened to RRP? :?

if you sold the games and the wii play on ebay it would end up the wii costing around £200 which aint too bad as they are hard to get.

It's at RRP from what I could see...... well, 3p over. :giggle:

The thing is, it's a lot of hassle to find one right now, so unfortunately all companies have taken advantage of this by adding bundles to maximise sales.

What I would recommend though, is selling Wii Play for upto £70 and that would mean you're getting the Wii, Prince of Persia + the very rare Mario Galaxy (which has been recommended as the best game on the Wii) for £230with next day delivery, so basically extra £50 for 2 games. :)

You would have Wii sports......which is the most played wii game ( by the children ) in my house.............
#18
If people are really desperate just buy a normal wii console from amazon.de (German) in stock at normal price (179) and postage is relatively cheap at about 6 quid then buy a plug adapter, all European games are interchangeable between European wii's and then even if your not happy you can still sell it for a profit on eBay as European consoles are going for over 200!
#19
Because they stopped delivering to UK and Ireland
#20
ah thats probably why then, my bad. I guess too many people were trying. good though if you managed to get it before they stopped
#21
Yeah, well done to all that got from Europe.
I missed out by a day or 2

Mario Galaxy isn't even out yet so how is it very rare?

Nintendo announced there's a shortage of stock on Mario Galaxy, which is why all the retailers will bump up the price very soon, I'm surprised retailers don't keep an eye out for info like this, which is why the preorders are at a good price at the moment but won't be in the next week or so.

There is a lot since it was released a year ago but demand clearly outweighs demand, which is why there's been a shortage since it was released but now it's approaching xmas, there seems to be much more people after it, so stores are literally getting small amounts in stock at a time.
#26
Plenty of Mario Galaxy stock :)

I pre-ordered 2 by accident and they both arrived today...DOH!!
(also freely available from all the online retailers!!)
#27
Mario Galaxy supposedly available from city Game stores at 6pm tonight, the rest of us wait until tomorrow...also someone else posted mario galaxy deal at toysrus at under £30 over the weekend...but I would get there quick.
I have a wii and so many great games expected, including Mario Galaxy and Umbrella Chronicles, we still love wii sports in my house.
Not the best deal, but round town at the mo. they seem to be out of stock everywhere.
wouldn't sell mine for a xbox or a PS3.

I clicked warm and the temperature dropped...why?

People don't seem to trust my word on games for some reason (I'm know a bit too much about games :giggle:) but I'll have to prove it to you, check this out then:

http://www.nindie.com/

I think you'll notice that it's sold out until next year, so you won't be able to get any instock until xmas is already over and loads of kids will be disappointed.

P.S Keep your second copy of Mario Galaxy and sell it before xmas for a nice profit. ;-)
#30
Because somebody else voted cold between the time you opened the page, and the time you selected a temp.

I wouldnt use Shopto at all. A lying company..run by a man who was banned from running a company for 5 years (3 years ago) because he failed to pay over £1million in tax. Nice

These are probably grey imports too knowing shopto...a bit like amazon.de

These "deals" always make me laugh. :giggle:

If only cos i got my Wii on launch day last year without any real effort or hassle. I went into HMV and placed a preorder, it was a simple as that. :whistling: :p

The website is a distributor of Nintendo stock, so that's how you can findout which retailers have stock of any Nintendo products but it seems as though you could always learn a little more about games. :giggle:

That was nice of you to sell your Mario Galaxy without a profit, I know a lot of people would of tried to make a profit on it in a few weeks time, especially when everyone realises it's out of stock and mags have been raving about it.
